Just took the time to make my way through the 15 pages of this...you are killing it!! Got a lot of my own stuff to get through. Been putting things off for too long with 1 excuse or another. Seeing the progress you have made I may just dive back in. Gonna see if I can follow that advice from so many in this post about taking care of yourself in the process ....last go round ended walking with a cane for a minute and some physical therapy among other things. Push too hard, something will slow you down if you don't take time to do it first.

Definitely take it slow and steady, and most importantly take care of yourself as you proceed.
I was recently humbled by a setback and now it’s start over and go slow.
It’s hard because your mind can be 25 years old but your body is more like 89 years old lol!

The short stand up freezers; I chopped the lids off of. The fridges; a guy wants to come get them n recycle them, so I left them as good as they could be

Not saying there’s not still farm kids out there and hard workers etc, but it seems to not be the “norm” anymore. One way to find good ones the local farmers used to use is to go ask the local football coach who their hardest workers were….which seemed to be a pretty good screening method.
Of course you might hire em for a reasonable wage, but you might go broke feeding them!

Past generations that lived through the “Great Depression” too-that sure left a mark on many folks. I knew a lot of old folks as a kid that saved absolutely everything, because in their minds “you might need it” when the world went south again.
