I bought 4 of those sent 2 back and should have sent the other 2 back. Least accurate guns I have ever shot! Crosman better come through with the accuracy this time or I might be done with them for good.

Well I guess everyone is different but if I shot groups like that at 25 yards I would never shoot that gun again which is why my icons will likely go in the trash or get parted out. I can't even sell them as complete guns in good conscience. Airguns should be tack drivers imo. Should be able to hit a fly every single time at 25 from a bench.

$130-$150 and you expect one ragged hole at 25 yards? I've spent more on a barrel than that.
I do agree that MY airguns should be lights out at 50 yards or they're not worthy, but expecting these super cheap entry level guns to perform like a $500 gun is asking alot.

I didn't expect it from the Icon. The gun retails at $300. We are talking about 25 yards not 50. I took a chance at 130 each and I'll probably just throw them away. No big deal. I do have several 22xx and 17xx guns that will shoot ragged holes at 50. Icons are junk imo. This gun better shoot ragged holes at 50 or I'll send it back. There's no reason a platform that has been built for decades shouldn't be accurate and the reason they're so affordable is because Crosman has made their money a million times over on lots of the tooling and RnD for the 3622. Guns are worth zero dollars if they're not accurate.

True about the 25 yard distance of these isn't worthy IMO. I was meaning, for me, I won't keep a gun or I will rebarrel it if it will not give me consistent dime/nickel groups at 50 yards. Also, the groups above weren't stated which pellet was used. If that's the best it'll do with trying multiple pellets, it would be a goner for me as well.
The icon uses the same barrels as the beeman chief II. The 22s seem to have more issues than the 177. I have a 19" barrel off a beeman 1358(same barrel as a barra 1100z) and it's a tack driver with 18s. Had to dress the crown, but that's it. They didn't get crazy with the crowning tool at the factory on this one.
As for the 3622, it will most likely share the same tooling as the 22xx barrels. I believe all the 7/16" OD barrels are still made in house. The quality of those barrels have went downhill also. Last 24" barrel I had wouldn't group with much past 30 yards or so. Cut it to 19" and recrowned, it got better, but not good enough.

I plan to purchase a 3622 soon. I will wait for a few actual reviews and for them to be discounted as they will be. I expect with an MSRP of $149 that over the next few months we should see them actually selling for around $129. I will get either the Baker breech or the Crosman steel breech.
I want the 3622 not so much for the inexpensive price but for it's diminutive size, light weight, extreme simplicity, traditional style and it is domestically made (meaning parts will be a phone call away and probably available at Ace Hardware). If the barrel will not shoot, if such turns out to be true, I can deal with it. It is not a bench rifle, it is a plinker and hunting/pesting rifle. I expect a lethal range on squirrel sized animals to be about 25 yards at it's advertised 16 fpe and 24+ shots, if I can kill a 25 cents piece with it repeatedly at 25 yards, I will be happy with it.

I wonder how close the internals of the 3622 will be to the Discovery and whether the valve will be pinned.
No shipping update yet, seems like it's been taking a few days for Crosman to get stuff shipped out lately.

I purchased Crosman icon while ago with positive experience. My 22cal 10 shot groups at 25yds can be covered with a dime if I do my part with most ammo I feed it above 700ft/s. Probably do better with more scope than the 2-7x32 it wears for tree rats..
