FX King block damage

I'm not sure if anyone else experienced this. Had the King now for a few months and noticed a pretty big extreme spread and POI change. I keep my settings the same and clean the barrel when needed so I dug deeper. Looks like the hammer chamber in the block is getting debris possibly from the pellet probe assembly and getting jammed up with the hammer. When I took out the trigger, there was aluminum debris all over it. I took a few pics with my bore scope.

I get frustrated the most when a non FX owner start pushing he's very important voice so far.... and the guy is just persistent against the Brand and keeps coming back. What is a name for that?
I get frustrated with story's like "I didn't touch nothing the zhit just happened".
Well, on FX rifle if you turn one knob or just a single screw having no idea what it is for .... can bend a valve pin, can blow the valve oring, will not cock, can do damages dis and dat the list can go on and on ...
If we put 50 or 100 the same rifles on the table side by side ... and there is one somewhere in the middle that is damaged ... that lights up a red warning light for me. Since the sales started how many "non user induced" issues we hear so far?
We shall always start investigating first from ourself, what did I alter to get me to this point.
We have a decent list of members here with detailed technical knowledge with FX, most would agree the human error was involved in 98% of cases.
I personally wouldn’t buy something like that used unless it’s coming from a first time owner I know. Too many newbie doing exactly this.
And please don’t be offended new people but scams are rampant as is dubious characters.

If you were referring to me, you can @ me or quote me, I won't be mad. Don't have to be passive aggressive about it.

I already admitted I don't have first hand experience with them. I'm just pointing out that other top tier guns never seem to pop up with issues, even on their newer guns. People are spending what I'd presume is hard earned money on these things, and getting let down.

Just because I don't have one, doesn't mean I can't voice my frustration for others. You damn right it pisses me off that they charge the amount they do, and sell a product that should already be ironed out for the end user at that price point. Warranty or not. They shouldn't be having their customers also be their R&D guinea pigs. That gives them a bad reputation.

If you feel I'm not allowed to have a voice in the matter, you aren't exactly welcoming of freedom of speech or freedom of opinion. What is a name for that?

Since you chimed in .... What I said is for a generic audiences popping up in dedicated troubleshooting threads to voice a concern ..... and argumenting ....

I don't know what other Brand or Model gun you have in mind that costs North of $2000 and those are trouble free ... I have not seen any of that yet ;)
And btw, no customer was let down from FX, so far as much I know. Can't speak for others ...

Me personally I don't believe in a trouble free "toy" over a $2-3-4000 piece price .... because of myself as a user and mechanic ... regardless of a dollar value I am taking all apart and altering and tuning and swapping parts, and of course I am making mistakes as well, but I just call that a learning curve. And my FX guns never visited the dealer service just for anything.
And I fully trust that I am not an isolated case.

With just about any airgun if it does not feel right or you have to force anything there is probably something not right. Take a step back and analyze if you changed something to make that happen. In some cases it maybe a bad design like many of the early AEAs but either way, you should probably stop and ask, like when you asked about the damage in the block, but before the damage happen, when you had that weird feeling that something you did was not right. Tell us what you did to get that interference. Whats nice is Fx will still warranty a lot of the stupid things we do. What would even be nicer, is if people, who messed up would mention what they did (and how easy it was to get there) to cause the issue so others won't do the same.

You need to give it a rest. There is nothing I did to cause this. Your looking for something that is not there. What experience do you have with the King? Comment when you do.

Airgun manufactures need to install tamper-proof labels that say " WARRANTY VOID IF OPENED".
Personally, I am very hesitant to ever purchase a used airgun for this exact reason.
The King is externally adjustable and a great performing gun, so trying to squeeze more performance from it, is like trying to fix something that isnt broke.
I would be impressed with FX, if this gets covered under warranty.

A lot of what you say is true and that a lot of these troubles people report are user inflicted, but not all. I really like the quality of manufacture FX delivers, but there are faults that are present in most things expensive or otherwise and FX is no exception. To be fair to the manufacturer, whatever fault is discovered should be reported to the manufacturer and then hopefully be resolved. If after that fact the fault is not resolved, that should be reported here, with criticism if it applies. In this case FX has not examined the fault and until that occurs, no criticism is warranted.

I would imagine that FX sells more air guns than any other manufacturer. Therefore, they have many more products being used.
The law of average should be considered as well. More rifles, more issues. Most of which seem minor (not all).
Not saying that their QC is poor, just that there are 'lemons' in every manufacturer's products no matter what that product might be.
I also agree that you must allow any manufacturer to make things right. This also helps the maker understand and better prepare for any issue that may arise.

I'd think crosman/Benjamin sell more guns than FX. Top tier guns, then most likely FX.

What are you getting at, that I caused this.

Unfortunately, there is quality control issues with the latest productions and anyone that purchased one will know that. From screws lose to blemishes. These things should not be going out the doors.

Its just the way you lay the story out it seems highly suspicious

So according to your story, you have a highly damaged part inside your gun that you took apart and you only want that part replaced and that fxUSA not even look at what caused it. There are no pictures of any debris that may have impacted the seat or other damage in the gun. There is no other info given, yet you ask if any of us came across this issue 🤔.

Replacing that single part is not going to cause the damage to stop happening to it again unless that issue that caused it to happen is resolved. And unless fx already knows what the issue is, I doubt they will just replace that part. More than likely if they already know what caused it, they will either add other parts that caused the issue or tell you not to do the thing you did to cause the damage.

Well, I'm not sending the whole gun in, so unless they can send me just the block, I'm on my own. I have a buddy that can clean it up. I ended up polishing the hammer, weight and spring and when that didn't change a thing, I inspected the bore and behold.
