A interesting roundball chucker

Now these are the guns our current administration would like us to have!
But why would anyone need such a weapon? The fact that someone would want one just demonstrates that they are a suspicious person that probably shouldn’t be allowed to have one. Maybe allow it after a background check and a two week cool down period, but they shouldn’t be allowed to buy more than one of them. We wouldn’t want them accumulating an arsenal.

I thought I'd share this. It's pretty cool. The guy that made it is talented.

Jeorg Sprave of The Slingshot Channel comes up with a lot of similar contraptions. If anyone’s not familiar with him I’d highly recommend spending an hour or so checking out his videos on YouTube.

I wonder what the FPE would be?
Studied slingshots for a couple of years. Surgical rubber lets down as the heat that builds up in it when you stretch it cools BUT something like that could be made to shoot a .50 lead ball at around 250 fps. That ball weighs 170 grains IIRC so about 20 or 25 foot pounds would be easy enough with some 1/2" tubing. Flat bands are faster. They had a contest to see what the maximum anyone could achieve was here. Shoot something like steel cubes cut off of square stock and they are wicked.
