I can't find the outer diameter or added length of the BC tensioner and shroud kit. (Mines the Maverick sniper 700mm) I have read there is more stripper than the FX shroud has but not sure how much length it adds or the diameter of the shroud. I don't know how popular there are as I can't really find too much about them.

The gun doesn't get any longer. I incorporated the huma rail/tensioner setup with the bc tensioner and shroud. With this you have to measure and cut to size. Bc was great to work with and sent me the lengths I requested.
The Huma tensioner looks like a 20mm OD cf tube just like the BC one has. Did you just use the BC shroud then? The air stripper inside the BC shroud is longer than the FX stripper so It must be longer (not sure how much though)

This was the post I initially did on the bc setup in conjunction with the huma rail. Mine is an 800mm barrel.

The barrel still has the factory liner lock. The carbon fiber tensioner piece slides over the factory barrel sleeve and attaches with a tensioner nut. The huma shroud has an airstripper that is a little longer than the factory stripper. That stripper is what screws on to the tensioner nut. The difference in size is rather minute. It is for sure not 4-6 inches.

You can use the huma tensioner, but you will have to cut a spacer. I would just get a long one from bc and cut my own to fit. I don't know if Huma sells the rail seperate or not.

One thing I can say is the bc shroud and tensioner setup quieted the bark down considerably at the power levels I am running. Prior to the install it had the loud crack of a rifle. Now it is more of a loud woosh of air. I don't have a decibal meter, but it was night and day difference for me Also, the coyotes don't seem as jumpy when it goes off and boy does it flatten them.
