FX Huma Pellet/Slug probe a bit longer?

The Huma Pellet/Slug probe I got for the Maverick causes me to bring the cocking lever a bit further back to insert or remove the mag as it sticks out a bit. Normal?
Seems it's a little over 1mm longer than the FX pellet probe.
It doesn't bother me but I was just checking to see it perhaps this one wasn't in spec.

Yeah it did same thing on my impact when I installed one

So I guess it's likely the design is meant to push the projectile in a little farther.. No biggie even if that's not the case.
