Could be a fun project gun. Pulling up the link, my first thought was it looks like it’s of SPA manufacture. Looked up a thread on GTA and see where Kirby received one with the typical SPA crown and rifling damage.
So if you get one, check for it when you receive it or plan to chop and recrown.

Will do. Kind of my thoughts also - I've a lot to learn yet about PCPs, and don't want to tear into my better ones.
If I totally screw something up on this one - at least I haven't destroyed several hundred dollars worth of gun.

I know there are problems with some of their barrels, but I have 7 of them in 3 different calibers and they are all good shooters. I'm going to pass on the Icon for now because I want to see what Crosman's new 3677/3622 pcp is going to be. They are supposed to show up this month.

Good trigger, nice feel, points well. A great deal at $188, a steal at $130!!
It's a solid air gun. I will get to shoot for a few hours everyday next week. I've got the house to myself all 6a to 4p, looking forward to some trigger time with each and every airgun, but the ICON comes first. (Moderator is due in today)
Normally I'd shoot in the backyard, but I've got contractors out there all week, so the garage is it this week.

If you have any interest at all....now is the time to get a dirt cheap 3D printer and play with it. There are alot of files out there free to print right away.
Its a pretty good time and very interesting learning. If I can do it, you can do it....im a caveman

I use the Buck Rail moderator on some of my PCP air rifles. $40.00 max for one of theirs in 1/2 x 20. Order a size up in caliber to prevent pellet clipping. So if you need one for 22 cal, just order the 25 cal version. Hope you find this helpful.

that is interesting. was looking at gamo arrow can anyone speak to the icon compared to the arrow. pro's and cons build quality etc,
