FX Maverick Compact .25 maxing out at 50 fpe (SOLVED)

Yeah, it's a tolerance stack, can't get away from it. Well you can but, I doubt seriously we'd want to pay for it. With modern CNC machines, when properly set up, they should be holding ± .001" .03mm or closer, if they are paying attention.
Yeah, so that pin is completely missing from my gun.

I can say that performance is better, but still not reaching the supposed 66FPE max, instead is maxing out at about 50-55fpe

I think we can remove that variable from the equation at this point.
Not from what I've seen, both personally and reading various posts for 1.5 years. If I'd produced some the stuff they had let through, I'd have been fired.

Freaking SERIOUSLY?????, luckily I think it's possible to put in a new one yourself, if the send it to you, Or just tell FX to go through it and fix the darn thing. Oh Oh there are two different pins, one is 2mm longer than the other. As for the hammer weight, they only list one on the parts list, ditto for the spring. If someone has the .25 hammer weight numbers that'd be cool or I can take mine apart and check it.

I think you missed my sarcasm.

I’m going to see if they answer the phone tomorrow. If they send me one it’s easy to replace. There’s another thread that had info on the .25 hammer weight, they said the head thickness of the .22 is 4mm .25 is 6mm and .30 is 8mm. Mine measured 4mm, I don’t have a scale handy to weigh it.

I've been ill, my /s detecter is off line right now. Just for giggles back off your #2 to 120 bar or so, you may have to crank your HSA IN. I believe I'm at 123bar and perking along at 892, 60ftlbs.

So I was completely wrong about this one. The schematic makes it look like the pin goes in the top of the receiver, but it is actually pressed into the bottom of the receiver. The top is just a hole, so if I get the right hammer I should be sorted.

In theory, yes. I've torn mine apart so many times I think I can give Ernst Roe a run for his money...kidding....sort of. So, are you missing the pin?
