Oh, my bad, They are $2350 everywhere. Sorry guys. I am late to the party as usual. If Skout answered emails, maybe I would be up to speed. Anyone shot these yet? Are they accurate? ...do tell!

I have dreamed about a .45/.50 cal pistol build, although this ain't quite it, its close, I highly respect someone that is much more capable than I building one very similarly! Behemoth! Now downsize it about 25% while adding 1-1.5" of barrel! (less bolt more barrel)

The Skout at PA flashes 2350 when I click the link then jumps to 2400, strange...

You can buy a Skout with absolute confidence- their company and it’s custom service is amazing.

I guess they don't talk to you-tubers, cause they don't answer my emails no matter what I say. I know I can be obnoxious though. I have one on the way to me. They let the dealers do the promotion of the gun. That's cool. Alot of companies do that. I just think being able to tell someone No is a good skill to have if your in business. Ignoring an email causes hurt feelings. A freindly No causes people to respect you and then you also have a relationship with that person from then on. Like me and Donny at Baker Airguns. Every time I would ask him for a gun, he would simply type "No". I love that guy!

Can't wait to shoot that bad boy! Review will be posted on August 18th. Party on!

Matt, Evanix is coming out with a .55 cal REX (pistol) it shoot shotgun rounds, but probably shoots slugs too. Or anything else you can fit in the barrel. I plan to shoot nuts and chunks of steak out of mine as treats for the forest creatures. They designed the gun just for a .55 cal shotgun round produced in the USA. Patriot Airguns suggested it and then sent them a few boxes of ammo, that's all it took. Also, on the Skout, it could be different calibers are different prices.

.....20 minutes later All the calibers are $2350 but the .357 is $2400. Not bad if you ask me. You get 3 barrels and a new girlfriend (she's locked inside the gun, but I can tell she is hot from her voice). I have never been so excited in all my life! Please shoot good!

I don't know much about you tubers and their interactions with manufactures or their interactions with retail outlets. To me, as a consumer, my normal interaction is with a distributor/retail outlet. What is so unique about Skout is the companies up front fix it now attitude regardless of the sales location aka middleman when it comes to resolving some issues....

Sounds great to me. The average Youtuber is a waste of time for gun makers. We all want a free gun in exchange for a video, but we have nothing to offer in return, because Youtube shadow bans our content. So if you get 3k views on a video, and only 25% is from the USA, it's a huge waste of time and money. A gun channel on Youtube is a hot mess of a hobby. I suggest making a YT channel about your cat. You will make alot more money.

But about gun makers and Youtubers: If you need a Youtube video in order to sell your product, then your in a bad spot. I noticed everyone is carrying these. I mean EVERYONE...so they definatley had some sales guy hitting the pavement. They are hooked into the supply chain for sure.

Good news. Luke at Scout emailed me and offered to help with any technical info I need when I'm filming my review. I know I gave Skout a bit of a hard time in the past (just trying to be funny!) ...but this couldn't be working out better. I think it's the first time in about 387 videos I have been able to call the factory for tech support.

I'm impressed so far! Now I just hope I get along with that lady who's inside the gun. -Nate the Novice

P.S. ...dang PY Air is taking thier sweet time sending that thing out. Still don't know what caliber it is. This is more exciting than the Delta Wolf, because I don't have to buy the gun this time!

Nate, their customer service is phenomenal, I’m very interested in your review.

Are you bringing one to the PAcup?

Absolutely. However, the gun I'm currently using is full of prototypical mods. As of this message, most of these are still in beta. On any given day my results vary wildly as I put these mods to the test. So, the results, good or otherwise, will not be those any new owner should expect. The production guns are very solid.

These beta mods (and there have been many) that often prove incompatible with one or another aspect of the entire system. Only the changes that are conclusively proven to enhance the guns overall performance will ever make it to the production models.

Back at the Skunkworks Labs in Loyalhanna PA for a couple of days...I'm a kid in a candy store!

I SOOOOOO hate you LOL. I was just looking at the colors they show on their website then found your video of them. Your video shows them better than the picture on their website does. Its really making me want to get one more and more. I'm just trying to decide on caliber and how I can justify it lol. Wish the 357 put out more energy though. Wonder what the FPE is with a heavier round is and if the skout can push it at decent velocities
