The problem is that a lot of people think they can swoop in to only use this forum as a place to quickly hawk their wares. They see it as a classifieds site for airguns.
The reality is that the classifieds section of this large forum is meant for active members to exchange gear with one another.
It would very much simplify the issue if people were able to grasp this simple distinction.
Stick to pushing your goods on Ebay and Craigslist and Spacebook if you can't handle it.

I doubt it. Look at his account. I hand fed him the answer and he STILL only has 1 post that is even remotely on topic for the forum. He hasn't even attempted to follow the rules. Some people are just beyond help.

No I didn't but it seems you may have. My comments to the OP were as friendly as needed and directly to the point. He had already asked this question once before (2 weeks ago) and was told EXACTLY what he needed to do. Asking a second time without doing what he was already told to do didn't warrant anything nicer than what he was given.

I get the idea behind the participate before you participate , but see no logical reason to qualify before you buy. That part actually
decreases the market for sellers. Sellers get paid before they ship. Sellers decide how they are paid: Vemo, Zeel and, PayPal, USPS money order etc. Sellers on the other hand should need a little seasonings. I'd like to open up buying to all. I just had a MEMBER contact me to buy a scope. He has "0" feedback. So send me a USPS money order, and I'll send you the scope. Pretty basic. Also had a MEMBER try to sell me a scope in response to my WTB post. He doesn't have the scope. Point is, member or not, caution is the watch word. Bill and Addi

In a perfect world your system would be great but unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world so precautions are taken to avoid the scum bags that are in it. Not only is it a good system, it is incredibly easy to pass and get privileges with. 10 quality posts/comments. 10. If that is too difficult for someone to do...
