POI checking routine

This is my POI checking routine that I do for all of my air guns. It is a long but important process to find the POI at each distances so that I can have a better chance of hitting my targets/pests.

What is your routine/method?

Check zero at 25 yards. Then 10 and 50 so I know scope is tracking and velocity is normal. All ready for a field target shoot.

I check all my guns, if they are capable at 30, 50, 75 and 100 yards. Those are the distances that I have permanent targets. I then make adjustments in the Strelok app so what the app is telling me actually matches what my projectile is doing real world. After that I trust the app for all the in betweens or further shots.

I usually check at 50Y, and then confirm at 100Y. If its good at 50Y, its usually good all others as long as scope height, ammo speed, and BC are correct in Strelok.

I have this setup at 50 yards. Take a couple of shots and it is easy to see where you are hitting. Paint when needed.

I zero my current rig at 25 yards and confirm POI through lots of shooting at my 30, 40, 50, 60 and 64 yard targets. I do lob them out to 102 yards, but strictly for fun.
