You guys are bad influences! I just had to go to Bug-A-Salt’s website. I hate flies. You know where this is going.
To practice with these, the only shot trap needed would be a cardboard box to tape or clip targets on and collect the salt. No penetration worries, ha ha. I wonder what dry salt would react with chemically to make a special target change colors...
The revolver version uses CO2 cartridges for propulsion. Does the shotgun version compress air when you pump it?

I guess it has a spring and piston, I've really never thought about it. I hate flies, and we have a restaurant next door to our store so the dumpster out back is a major breeding ground. Mine has taken out thousands.

My excellent wife is willing to shoot, but is legally blind in her right eye, and is right handed. I have to teach her to shoot lefty…I’ll need to work on my patience a bit first.

Figure I'll grab some pistols and easy mechanical slingers(she's watched me tinker for hours on end so she has an idea of how they all work).
