It appears that he may have had a aneurysm. As to what is the cause it is not given by the doctor.

Aneurysms are life, death or massive permanent damage on a knife’s edge, hope he got help in time to make a full recovery!

Jerry has been moved out of ICU and in a regular room. He is on a long road to recovery that will require a lot of patience, and determination.

Thanks for the update - was going to check in on this thread to see if there had been any progress. Over a month in the hospital and it sounds like still a long ways to go but it's good that he's making some progress. Hope he continues to get better fast!
