Swageing Pellets

I have a lot of 22 caliber pellets that don't shoot well in my guns. So the just sit around and take up space. Too good to throw away but not good enough to waste time on.
So I just got a .20 caliber. Pellets are a little scarce. I was thinking a fellow could swage these pellents down a bit and try them.
I would have die made at a machine shop.
Any one tried this or am I being stupid. Long time ago I sages .22 caliber bullets out of lead wire but I sold that rig

Would your die swage them down or totally reshape them?
I think if you just resized them it may not work well, i don't know that for sure, but if you had a die that totally reshaped them, or formed them into a slug i think it would probably do well, just thinking out loud.

T. Robb makes a pellet sizer that I have used with some (mediocre) luck. It really depends a lot on which pellets you are sizing.
They only really resize the head, leaving the skirt a little wider than the head (it's a tapered, hand-held die), which is the ticket.

I have two of these in .25 and .22
To simplify the process, take couple pellets and push them individually in the barrel rifling but only half way long. Now push them back out from muzzle end.
You will see the squezed marks on the pellet head...
Use a colour marker and mark=paint the pellet head all around especially those marking that the rifling left.
Take the Trrobb pellet sizer and adjust the depth to get a shiny ring all around on the head and still the paint remaining from rifling.
Test the pellets if any better?
