What's up with the classifieds?

What's up with so many items now being posted that dont have prices shown? Here's the rules, seems pretty black and white to me.

Creating an ad

  1. Create only 1 unique ad. After 7 days your ad will expire and you will be prompted to Renew, Edit, or Change the status of your ad. Do not create duplicate ads regardless of their age. If you've dismissed the renewal prompt, you can locate old ads by going to Forums > Find Your Threads.
  2. Select the type of ad from the drop-down box (eg: WTS, WTB, WTT, etc.).
  3. Select a Prefix (Rifle, Pistol, Scope, etc) this will help sorting and searching.
  4. Specify a price and whether or not it is negotiable (eg: firm, flexible, trades) this is not an auction site.
  5. Specify if shipping is included in the price.
  6. Specify the region you are willing to ship (eg: CONUS only, International, UK only, etc.).
  7. Specify the type of payment you prefer (eg: Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, check, money order, etc.).
  8. Provide as much information as possible (eg: make, model, caliber, condition, reticle, etc.) to minimize questions to your inbox. (Commenting or replying to ads is disabled - use the PM system).
  9. Linking your ad to an external sales site (such as Amazon, Ebay) is prohibited.
  10. Deleting the contents of your ad is prohibited.

That's one reason why ads have an option for members to report them; so we can help police the rules. It works!

Ask me how I know.

Yupper, I have reported them except for the two last night, I was 'busy' with my mistress, Miss Maverick. She's .30. ;)

I know this is an old post, but maybe it needs to be addressed again... I'm seeing a lot of WTS ads lately with no price listed. I'll be the first to say that if you post a WTS ad with no price, I just move right past it. I guess I'm old school and figure if I have to ask, I probably can't afford it or it's over priced!

Please, if you are going to go through the trouble to place a WTS ad, post the asking price!

That was one of them, but it's been fixed. There have been a couple others over the past few days as well, but I don't recall which ones they were. It may just be an error on the seller's part, but if I don't see a price, I don't have much interest...

I'm still wondering what's up with all the sellers asking for higher than new prices. A GK1 for $1500 or tins of JSB's for $20 each. How long does it take to Google the product you're selling and check the retail price before posting an ad?
Just people trying to recoup the money they spent, specially since they'll be spending money shipping said ammo. I just chuckle and move along.

I never understood reselling ammo, I'll trade ammo fir other ammo but not sell. I might as well melt it and make lead bars.
