What's up with the white O-ring? OEM are black Buna N nitrile 90.
That endcap is indeed Loctitied into the air tube. It takes a LOT of heat to remove it! An electric heat gun won't work. It requires propane.

Wrap some rubber, electrical tape, or scotch tape around a jointed plier OR MORE IDEALLY…use a set of thin wrenches and figure out which fits. I forgot what size I used. Make sure to heat it up real good (you can use a lighter like I did), and turn counter clockwise. Will be easier if you have someone hold the tube with a pair of grippy gloves…or the best option is a vise.What did u do? I need to remove mine now
