Anyone have a Walther Tuning Trigger installed in their LGU or LGV?

Installed one last night and its a night and day difference already. Super clean pull and breaks great right at 1.5lbs... and not plastic!! As is, I'm very happy with it and don't see any real reason to fiddle further unless somebody with more experience with this trigger thinks its worth the effort. Im reading varying opinions on this and just wanted some feedback. Thank you!

The only real negative that I have seen presented about the Walther tuning trigger came from Hector Medina on his tuning blog.
It was based solely on the spacing of the screws that affect the hand off from first to second stage.

I am still running the stock trigger with the longer screw mod to get a lighter second stage release. Did your tuning trigger decrease the absurdly long first stage any?

I read Hectors blog on it as well and as usual he was pretty spot on. It's efinitely an upgrade over the factory plastic one by all means.

I'll have to get back to you on the first stage length though. I installed it last night right before bed and have only taken a few shots with it and don't recall off of the top of my head how long the pull is. I'll get a video for you when I get off work.

Outstanding, and thank you sir !
Here is what it's currently set at. Honestly I can't remember where it was before so you'll have to be the judge here. Its definitely not a short first stage pull but it's very consistent. As if now its about a pound first stage, solid wall, and then 8-10oz before it breaks. I'll be playing around with it later tonight so I'll fill you in with any updates as they happen.

I used your vid for a kind of gauge while checking my modded LGV and LGU.

The first stage seems to be pretty close, but yours appears to be slightly shorter and way smoother.
I think that the different screw positions on the Rowan trigger allow you to take out more first stage as it can hand off to the second stage faster with the screws closer together.

My second stage is 1.5 lbs. and pretty clean, but dropping 5 or 6 more ounces is an appealing prospect.
Still, if that's the only legit gripe about either rifle that we can stir up, we are doing good.

Thanks again for taking the time! (y)

Yeah that trigger was literally my only gripe too. Everything about the gun aside from that is excellent in my books. Shooting Rekords with sub 10oz trigger pulls will ruin a man though so I can't completely blame the Walther for that.
