My Atomic XR loves the CPHPs and many pests would, if they could, testify as to the terminal performance out to 50+ yards. At $6.24 per tin? Oh yeah! 2500 rounds for less than $33? I still love my JSBs and AAs pellets, but my everyday pellets are the CPHPs.

no, for the all important 'expansion' characteristics there has to be gold mixed in with the lead so the pellets are +33$/tin ..

They only expand when they hit steel or rocks, etc. They definitely don’t expand in animals at the velocity they reach in my Atomic.

I have a few thousand Daisy HPs huge cavity, almost as big as the skirt and they feel softer than the CPHPs. The Daisies are not as accurate out of my guns…

My SPA rifles and my Prod all shoot the Daisy HPs well and they expand like crazy.

I have always had good results with Crosman pellets. However their Destroyer pellets did not shoot so well out of the Mrod I had that got me started into PCPs years ago. Never bothered with them after that.

I would have to say yes, rats, starlings and sparrows? There’s not much mass to them. So yes, the CPHPs zip right on through.

If I only had 5 tins, I would be panicking. With the 7 I just received, I have 30 tins. With a Leshiy 2, I can burn thru 500 in a couple days. Being retired with a backyard range, I shoot off and on all day long and sometimes at night. I can't Believe they are still so inexpensive, I buy them everytime I go to Walmart. My Cricket loves them!
