Notos delivered today

Ordered Monday night from Midway @ 233 bucks, arrived today before dark so I had some time to shoot. Quick review, it's not that quiet, sounds like my L2, it feels like my L2 also. Started out with crosman hp's, was getting decent groups @ 31yrds in windy conditions. Trigger is really hard to the point it will affect your groups. Tried FX 18gr. And the groups tightened up. I bought this gun for one purpose and that is to mount my pardnv008 and shoot rats at night in the back yard. It's extremely light weight. Overall I am satisfied and believe it will do what I want. At some point I will saw off the moderator and epoxy an adapter for my donnyl tanto.. Will do some chronograph test tomorrow. The safety in the trigger sucks, but I dont use it so I can live with it. I think the trigger can be improved, I hope so anyway. I own a Cricket, a Vulcan a leshiy 2 and some lesser airguns. If you keep in mind it cost very little and dont compare it to your high end guns, you're gonna be happy.

back the hammer spring off a turn or turn and a half, should quiet it down.

most seem to be right around maxed out from the factory.

trigger is super simple to make much better.

the little screw in the trigger,
screw it in until the first stage wont reset on its own when the gun is cocked,
then back it out a quarter turn,
should end up with a nice first stage,
and a crisp second stage break
(although a little heavy,
but a lighter spring can fix that too)

can it compare to my impact? no way
but it can be made very acceptable.

Someone said it’s borderline silent. Not the case?
No way, its borderline backyard friendly in my opinion. To me it sounds like my Leshiy or a nail gun if you dont own a Leshiy. That is my main disappointment, all the reviews talk about the quietness, but it ain't that quiet in my opinion

Thanks for the tips! Looking forward to improving this Thing.
