Sent these after my workday, light was fading fast and the little West Hunter suffers in low light at 12x. With a larger, brighter scope, I believe they can be better. Will soon be putting that to the test when my second Atomic arrives.
Thanks, four of the six covered by a dime... I know the gun can do better, I just need to become more steady with it.Ain't half bad!
I hear ya ya, short little compacts are tough to keep steady on a benchThanks, four of the six covered by a dime... I know the gun can do better, I just need to become more steady with it.
Use a rear bag instead of your fist and I’d bet those groups get tighter. Thanks, four of the six covered by a dime... I know the gun can do better, I just need to become more steady with it.
Brocock needs to be throwing you some funds for all the Atomic horn tooting you have been doing. I will kindly ask you to stop as there is a couple floating around in AoA's used section and I really don't need another air gun. Need to sell these extra scopes before they find an excuse for a new gun.
i would think at 25 yards would sure group better than that. but pretty well for such little gunSent these after my workday, light was fading fast and the little West Hunter suffers in low light at 12x. I’ve shot better groups, these were tonight’s… The little West Hunter while an excellent pesting scope, leaves a lot to be desired as a target scope. If I plopped my Helos 6x24x50 atop the Atomic the groups would get tighter, but the gun would lose its handling sweetness. She is primarily a pesting machine.i would think at 25 yards would sure group better than that.
