Huma Regulator for the Airmaks Krait

I forgot to post this as its own thread. My video is now listed on the Huma web page for this! Pretty cool!

Here is how you install this reg, which totally fixed the issues seen with the stock reg from Airmaks and its god-awful performance as shown on my channel.

Don't forget the check the comments on the video, there is a 60 and 70 shot string posted there where the results speak for themselves.

nice going airshootist !!! nice going !!! HUMA HUMA HUMA ! !!! is the gun worth ownership now ?
In my opinion: No. An FX Wildcat or Maverick will hands down outperform it straight out of the box with no modifications and they are the same price or cheaper if you get a compact or VP version. Plus if you are in the USA you get the comfort of the FX USA Service Center to go along with the 3 year warranty, which is really nice.

Daniel just added a Huma bottle reg also on this gun and he was hitting a 5" steel gong at 175 yards the other day pretty consistently in the double reg'd configuration. First reg 150 bar, second 120 bar. 24.8gr .217 NSA slugs. Double regging it will kinda slow down the recharge rate a bit, however, since you've got less pressure leaning on the reg than you would if it were straight from the bottle without the bottle reg. Consistency was really good, though, with the two Huma regs. I honestly don't think double-regging it was necessary, but he wanted to go that route with that gun, so OK! 🤷‍♂️

The gun has been reserved for pest control & short-to-medium range hunting only, no competition. But he is going to keep it at this point, he said. We've put so much time/work into it that it makes sense not to take a loss selling it. Plus at this point it's kinda cool to tinker on it and see how else we can improve it, honestly. Next we will chase down the leaking, thinking that is coming from the valve or fill probe area.... not too sure.

Huma-Air are true heroes for bringing that reg to the Krait owners, though, that is for sure! They are one of the airgun companies out there that I really love and respect!

Monoblock 2 versions are in production.
I can verify that this is true. Hope everyone buys one, it dramatically improves this gun's performance and is a totally worthwhile upgrade.
