AGN I need help with Evanix disassembly [Question]

Need help with removing the barrel from my Evanix Giant select fire so I can do a deep clean and barrel polish.

Please see attached video. I’m stuck at this point with what to do. I can’t tell, should the barrel unscrew from the housing…? I REALLY don’t want to break this thing!

Just twist and pull the barrel out she is free now,....they are tight fit so takes a bit of force

Just wondering, do you have experience with this exact model or does it seem like that the most probable next move based on your expertise?

I don't have that model but basically all Evanix guns but the REX line ,where the barrel is threaded in the Action,........ once you remove the twin grub screws you just slide the barrel out.

Thank you! What’s so weird is the grub screws don’t even look like they’re holding onto it in any way. I guess it’s just friction keeping it in place.

A strap wrench helps to remove the barrels on the Evanix if they are stubborn.
From your video, I suspect there's slight burring from the grub screws.

I don’t have a strap wrench, is there a manufacturer you’d recommend? Or just anything from harbor freight/Home depot/Lowe’s will do?

Any place will do for a strap wrench. It doesn't need to be a huge one or expensive.
Harbor Freight has a 2 piece rubber set for $5.99
