Out of the box fpe on a Maverick Sniper .25 Cal.

I would like to know what is the fpe that a normal FX Maverick Sniper 700 mm in .25 Cal should give making normal adjustments but before any change of pieces to improve power.

I would appreciate owners experience.

I get a about 60, YMMV. Heavier pellets use more air. I'm using 25gr JSB's.

Enough shots per fill for a normal hunting session.

I am about to buy one. But I am still hesitant. If it is not “better some how” in regard of all others I already own, I, for sure, will blame myself.

I like the Maverick, my only other rifles are a Zbroia Sapsan PCP .22 and a Remington Nitro. My .25 is a tack driver, (600mm) my .22 Compact (500mm) is doing quite well with the right pellets and when it was a .25 sniper did well. I'm not chasing down the slug rabbit hole, not worth the trouble to me. Personally bang for the buck I think the Maverick may be it, dual regs, enough after market stuff to keep you broke. Tunable for most anything. Perfect no, functional, yes. As an FYI, you aren't gaining much with a longer barrel in a PCP, a few hundred FPS but the accuracy remains the same. Just more hanging out there, my opinion. Be aware that the barrels do move.

What is your HSA?

I haven't ever looked but it is on 5 out of 7 instead of 6 and has a small washer which weights 1/2 a gram
