Is it enough air for the new huntsman? Newbie question

There are only 2 dive shops within 50 miles of me. Both say the max air they can put in my 4500 psi tank is 3200 psi. That is on a good day. Sometimes it is only 3000 psi.
Question, my gun holds 3626 psi but the regulator is set at 2175.6 psi.,
I know I will have to refill the weapon more, but, how many refills should I expect from a tank with only 3200?
Am I going to be spending alot of time going to the dive shops?

go to your local fire stations. they fill to 4500

might take some legwork,
but its worth it.

Doesn't sound like a very hopeful situation, might be time to consider a HPA compressor purchase. Search "Yong Heng" in archives to get the ball rolling. Best of Luck, WM

more expense anyway you look at it A compressor ,YH is the less $$ or a shoebox and extra tanks but that is more than 1K

you could use the talk to fill and then pump to pressure , OR better yet , just shoot 1/2 of shots and pump full IE: top off

She also ask which compressor has the least maintenance.

I cheap hand pump mine all the time. The wife will love the way your arms, legs and butt look after several pumping sessions.

There are very few fire stations that will do that, so few I think it is an urban legend that any will. Too many potential liability issues for them to do that, any that do are an extremely rare exception.

I guess my biggest question has not been answered yet.

How long will the big tank last with only 3200 in it? About how many refills? Best guesses is ok.

What about the rifle tank with only 3200 in a 3626 tank\bottle? 20 shots? less? regulator is set at 150 bar.

Really wanting to shoot some, a lot. while waiting for a compressor if that is what I have to do.

Doc, you're welcome and you do have a loving and understanding wife! For a compressor I would recommend this one but do purchase one of the offered extended warranty! I have the first gen generic variety but this one is better. There are other single cylinder ones available on amazon for under 300 (also purchase warranty) but this one theoretically should last longer.

I'm glad someone else gets it. There are more benefits than just shooting. I don't break a sweat when I'm pumping but it definitely builds muscle and my wife has definitely noticed.

Have you considered tethering. I only fill my 88cf tank to 3200 hook to it and shoot all week

I understand, I just don’t think there is a good way to get my wife to pump the guns up. She made some threatening comments as she walked away.
