Uragan 2, BRK Ghost, Skout Epoch Which and why?

Everyone has a reason to get a new gun, but which? These are 3 that caught MY attention. Obviously, everyone has their preferences, I'm not trying to through shade on any brand. Been at this for a while with these 3 so.. which one?
Uragan 2- Positives: Most cost effective of the 3. can shoot slugs and pellets with same barrel, solid build.
Negatives: Not the easiest to adjust / access reg, weight, versatility

BRK Ghost - Positives: Sleek, tactical style. Easy barrel / caliber change, easy power adjustment.
Negatives: Too "FX"y in design, with same issues, needs extra gear- bag rider for starters, will barrel bands or barrel tensioners be needed to stiffen it? Mag expense, Does one need to order different barrel for slugs? Robust price tag.

Skout Epoch- Positives: Advertising several break through technologies, Teflon coated barrels, substantially lower reg operation, electronic control- trigger / safety? multiple barrels 3 different diameter of same caliber.
Negatives: COST, also the 3 barrels coming with it are EITHER pellet or slug , depending on which you order. You do not get 3 different caliber barrels or pellet and slug combo. Extra barrel for extra coin. So 1 caliber with extra barrel kits to shoot both slugs and pellets move this gun to $3300, before scope or bipod.

In the end, for me, while I believe the Ghost will give FX a run for the money, and the Skout will outline the future of airguns, for now, the Uragan 2 with it's lowest of the 3 price tag and it's set and forget nature makes it the go to gun for me at this time.

I can't agree with your analysis, not entirely at least. Ghost/Uragan have a real competitor, The Prophet 2 that shoots pellet/slugs well enough with one barrel. Price tag for the Performance Edition is under 1900usd, but you have an externally adjustable reg and an easy access to the HS screw tensioner.
About the Epoch/Skout, it is a completely different game: we are talking about the same price range of the daystate redwolf (I'm not considering the Alpha/Deltawolf due to their accuracy problems).
But let's try to dig deeper about Daystate:
-No need to talk about accuracy and precision. The redwolf is one of the best airgun in the world, reliable and "easy" to tune
-But, if you want to tune it, you will need a separate board (300-400 usd EDIT it costs actually 280 usd, thanks @whyzee )
-Price tag Redwolf + chassis > 4000usd
-One barrel, and, depending on the caliber, it can be a selected LW, not even a proprietary ART one
-It is LONG (not really hiker friendly)

For what i can see, the Skout is better in every single aspect BUT we need to know how accurate and precise it is, especially with slug. Also, we need to know the maximum amount of power available for every single caliber, before judging it.
If, and only if, the Skout will be as accurate as a redwolf (at least), i will buy it eyes closed.

FYI: I described every single characteristic that the entire airgun market will check. Of course, everyone has their own preferences about pellet vs slug, bullpup vs traditional rifle, mechanic vs electronic etc etc

Well, Derrick, You convinced me! I edited this former response after deep research and consideration. Even though I lost my range currently, I will acquire a skout ASAP in 25 cal and see what it does!

Unfortunatly the Prophet 2 cocking lever is on the left side and is NOT reversable.

No worries Brother. As I stated, I saw an inaccuracy due to the fact I just purchased one (heliboard) recently, so I commented. The actual DayState programmer IS 400$ retail, so it was a no brainer to go with Jack’s product. And, I am pleased as punch

Do you own a Redwolf? Daaamn, want to try one so hard, but not easy here in Italy

Although I don't mind magazines holding at least 10 rounds I would definitely prefer a magazine with the most capacity. Those EPOCH mags look fantastic BTW!

I wish the EPOCH didn't have an E-trigger though. Also I hate having to charge these E-guns and replacing the batteries.

Unforeseen problems rearing their ugly head in the EPOCH?? Always a possibility. We'll see soon enough.

I don't like how the Prophets feel but that's just me I guess. A guy I was paired with had one at a EFT match and the reg filling up was slow and it made noise while it filled. That was a turn off to me. Is this common?

I like my U1 King for what it is. Not a bad gun at all in most ways but it has POI shifts. Darn sure wouldn't make a good EFT gun in its present form.

Yes, reg is the weakest point in any RTI guns. However, with just a bit of work, i have been able to have mine that creeps 1 bar in 3 days, and then stops. And i'm always between 0.5 and 1.5 SD, with 8-9 ES. So i'm quite happy. About the noise, there is a small plastic tube, near the valve, that can be eliminated. If i remember well, is the spare parts n° 56, but i'm not 100% sure. Will check my sheets and be back
