Fired up myTuxing 032 was humming along and I thought I'd check the temp and,.....blank....WTH?? Finished up the fill and....the meter came on. I'm going to guess the battery is heading south, anybody have anything like this?
Oh please, where's the fun in that? If it craps out, they owe me a new one, hasn't been that long, I've got emails, they'll send me a crate of them no doubt. I'll have them send me one on their Yen and I'll pop this one open and try to replace the battery.Pretty much a first step... Then if all else fails you do got a chance in a replacment...

Oh I know that. Mine is still under warranty. I know hot it runs now so the temp gauge isn’t 100% needed. Edit: For giggles I fired it back up yesterday 1/21/23, the Temp gauge came on but kind of flickered for a while and stayed on. When I cut the power it stayed on, can't say for how long. Could be a loose wire or a faulty Electronic Control.Sounds good .
I was leading to atleast tuxing parts can be got . Slow boat from china last ditch is still better than nothing..lol.
How long can you run until you hit 185? What do you use for coolant, and how much (op manual says 20 L of distilled water with ice)Oh I know that. Mine is still under warranty. I know hot it runs now so the temp gauge isn’t 100% needed.
You have a manual? 185c or 185º? I think it's Prestone 50/50. Seriously, I don't have a manual, mine has a little sheet of paper that couldn't begin to qualify as a manual. I'd love to get a copy of it. I just did the quick math and I'm not sure I've hit 85c.How long can you run until you hit 185? Actually I have two of them.It will give you an excuse to buy a handheld unit for temp checks,,, then you can check different parts on the compressor or what ever strikes your fancy

Interesting my pamphlet says change the oil much sooner. I finally figured out why my hour meter wasn't working, something about reading the %$#@ instructions and cutting a wire, oh well, I'm one hour behind, I'll survive.
What batteries do they use? Want to know before taking a wonder bar to it to pry it out.....kidding...sort of.The temp gauges have a issue sucking batt dry quickly as well the cover can come loose and it will pop off and on at random or be very dim. If you need help call Veradium Air they are factory parts and service in USA. veradiumair.com
Thanks, luckily I've got a customs file so things go quickly for me. Battery first though. Ok, the batteries are LR44, the thing is easy enough to pop out...with skinny hands. They siliconed the battery door so it wouldn't vibrate open.Pretty much a first step... Then if all else fails you do got a chance in a replacment...
