How do you carry your Taipan in the field?

Trying to get ideas on ways to carry a shorty while walking and stalking game in the field.

I grab it by the stock, the lower “link” between the grip and butt, and just go….

I made my own single point sling with quick adjust buckle. I use the other magpul style rail attachment for a quick detach sling ring mounted on the Taipan scope rail.

Single point on my compact Impacts

Regular ole sling studs and a regular ole sling works well for me.

I don't much care for the single point loopy things.

I use a single point sling and mount attachment under butt on my veteran long with Sumo. I’m 6’1”. It is my absolute favorite way of carrying this heavy beast. I can hang it down at my side or rested in my crossed arms on my chest. The set up makes the gun feel so much lighter than it is. I just love to hunt with it. That being said, the stock is off the gun right now because I am fitting a new stock I have almost finished. It won’t have the option of the same sling mount. I’m going to see if I can squeeze @rcs9250 idea under my scope. Looks like a good solution as well.

My Picatinny mount came for my Veteran yesterday. It carries better now than it did before and the strap doesn’t rub on anything. Thanks for the tip. Can’t wait to walk around in the woods.
