What springer did you shoot today?

In the morning I reassembled my HW80k .25. put a Vortek spring kit. I started shooting and was blown away instantly. What a difference. What a gun.

I put it through a crony. 568–571. It was 535–540 before. Shot for 3 hrs. And all I’m thinking is next tree rat is in big trouble. Jacking this baby is murder, I’m crippled now. After the 80 I pulled out a HW97k lam. .177. Shot it for an hour + and every shot was deadly. It finished off my four cans, cut in half. Happy New Year to everyone. Crow

I get weak in the knee when I see a nice thumb hole and right now I’m picking myself off the floor. Nice gun. Enjoy Crow

Nice shooting, and I’m going to look into those targets.
Another thumb hole as I again I get off the floor. I can’t wait to get some custom stocks, and it’s not far off.
Had my 77’s lined up to shoot today, unfortunately I got tied up, tomorrow. Sweet gun Crow

That’s way I only shoot springers. They don’t really care about the weather. Crow

Déjà vu. Nice shooting
Is the P17 spring or cartridge?

The Beeman P17 is a single-stroke pneumatic.

Sounds like an awesome gun. Before my time. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for one. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll run into one, if I do it’s mine. Enjoy your gem. Pics would be good. Happy New Year Crow

I always have 6 cans hanging at any given time on my range at 30 yds. I cut them in half one at a time. Happy New Year Crow
Took some pictures of the .25 Tommy. Hope you like it

My son and grandson made it over for the new year weekend, so I gave them an extra belated Christmas present, a couple of Daisy 717 single stroke pneumatic pistols I completely reworked and relubed. They shot them and I shot some with a higher grade Daisy 777. My 11 year old grandson did better on the soda cans at 10 meter than I thought he would.

You have 3 R9s on order or 3 barrels? What's the plan?
I have 3 R9’s and 2 95’s I ordered 3 barrels. I think that barrel is the cats a-s. I wish we could have moderators, their top notch jewelry in my eyes. Crow

KWK you hit the nail on the head. I enjoy the pics of the older guns as their new to me. I appreciate the workmanship of yesterday and am blown away by some of the collections you guys have. I just got The Blue Book of Airguns great reading but like watching a black and white TV. The pics on this forum is in colour. Sweet. Talk about spoiled.
I’ve been selling off my wood working tools doubles triples and quadruples and considering a small metal lathe always wanted one. Thanks for sharing, Happy New Year Crow

That's great to hear. Nothing like quality time with loved ones ❤️👊🏼💥

Nothing better than spending time with the grand kids. It’s never enough. Happy New Year Crow

The first I grabbed was the .25 cal. Couldn’t put it down, emptied the tin at lunch. I really enjoy shooting the 77 and 97 .25 cal.
This is my first 5 group at 30 yds.

This one sways, it’s at the bottom of 5 plates.
Going out to shoot the other 3 now. Happy New Year Crow

Grandson got out playing with a bunch of neighbor kids, and my son went for a long walk, he wore me out yesterday so need a day to recuperate from that, so I got the Diana Octoberfest BB gun out. Fun to stand up and shoot as fast as I can work the bolt. It fed BB's and fired perfectly for around 100 shots. I think they were designed for closer range but I was shooting at about 15 meters and it was deadly on soda cans, kicking them around and punching completely through both sides.

I think for fun one day I will set up a paper target and see what it can do, the leaf sight is rather small and basic, made for more gallery type shooting, but fun.

Busy day! Wind was very light and manageable with temps in the mid 40's. Took four springers to the range today. I shoot each rifle for an album's worth of music. Once the album is over I switch to another. Sometimes I throw in some stand up comedy. Had all new cans strung up and fresh paint on all the spinners, gotta start the new year off correctly!

Started with the HW30 .177 and gave the cans some What For. Switched to the mighty TX200 .177 and beat up the spinners for awhile. When they cried uncle I switched to the HW50 .22 and destroyed a can right off the paracord, that's alotta of What For. Ended with the HW95 .20 laser. This rifle is a peach. Knocked the paint off of dime and nickle spinners, what a hoot. When you can hit the numbers on a clock of a dime sized spinner, it's a peach.

Going to dust off the PCP's tomorrow. Should be fun!
