Pellet Scam (H&N SNIPER)

I was blistfully going through my last tin of H&N Sniper Magnum pellets. A couple of my guns loves them. Like a lot of airgunners I was shocked to find they are nowhere to be found!

For a while I was thinking of new ways to search for the Sniper mags daily. I was determined at this point and finally found a dealer with plenty in stock (see attached).

I anxiously placed my order and was informed the only payment accepted is bitcoin (this is when I went brain dead!). What kind of legit dealer only deals in bitcoin?

Well I happened to have some Bitcoin so I ordered the pellets and waited, and waited, and waited. After a couple of weeks with no tracking number and no pellets I sent them several emails never to get a response.

Be leery of this site if you come across it...

From checking Krale myself and not finding any, got links to the Sniper Light and Medium pellets you said they have?? If they actually do have them, they'd be a couple year old stock. The dies were damaged while installing them in the machines several years ago and while H&N attempted to fix the dies, they weren't happy with the quality of what was being made and discontinued the entire Sniper line.
Many would love to see them come back, myself being one, since the .177 Sniper Mediums have shot lights out in all my .177 caliber rifles. I'm down to 3 rifles in .177, but I have a pretty healthy stash of them that should last me for a few years :)

Makes me wonder, can these sites search for stuff that isn’t available or do they just list everything under the sun?

I was looking for a rifle a year or so ago and found what I wanted at too good of a price and they only accepted ripcoin. No, I didn’t try to buy it, besides the payment hole in the site it was full of others. Damn I hate scammers…

Bitcoin as a payment should be a red flag.Criminals use it as it is virtually untrackable or untraceable.
