plan your shooting times

It was 36 degrees when I walked out the door at 530am, its already 22 but feels like 6 because of the wind chill at 1030am here in STL.

I'll be in the basement refinishing my stocks and putting new seals in my disco project.
STL! I'm a WashU grad...have to say that I don't miss those winters or the humidity in the summers. Great people there though.

I live in St. Charles across the MO River. I just say STL because no one really knows st chuck unless you've been here.

I get it...I didn't have a car while at WashU so barely know the area outside of our bubble; I vaguely know where St. Charles is. Similarly, I often say I'm from the Bay Area or near San Francisco because a lot of people don't really where San Jose is exactly, even though it's the heart of Silicon Valley.

It hit -25 here in Montana last night and even colder in Bozeman Montana where it was -44 before windchill.
Edit: I heard it wrong, not that cold, but terrible cold 🥶!!
I ventured out to feed the birds and rushed back in to shoot at my 5 and 10 yard indoor targets.
This buck comes right in to eat the sunflower seeds lol!

what would hot or cold have to do with drinking beer ?
Well, if it’s real cold outside less people will be out with coolers and less opportunity to steal it, except maybe tailgaters at football games or ice fishermen. Real hot everyone is out with lots of beer and more opportunity.

I’d be extra careful if you’re thinking about stealing it from ice fishermen, they have to be crazy to be sitting out on a frozen lake freezing their axes off trying to catch a fish, who knows what they’d do to you…

I can’t believe I have to tell this stuff to guy named ”beerthief”… :)
