Has anyone tried a carbon fiber sleeve on the L2 barrel? Would the fx barrel sleeve work?
If your intent is to stiffen the barrel, a thin CF sleeve would be insignificant on the L2 barrel. Being much larger in diameter than the skinny FX barrels, the L2 barrels are already inherently stiff. Even at 600mm the barrel by itself is probably stiffer than the FX with sleeve and shroud. Granted the L2 barrel is much heavier. If your intent is cosmetic than go for it.

Are those larger bottles longer in length or in diameter?

Have an idea for something but the length of the bottle can't be much longer than the original bottle. Though there is some width that can be added with no interference.
Yes and yes, the picture that BlackTitanium posted has the exact dimensions.

i at read the where aluminum but while watching a review he guy said pollymer so i figured i would ask.
thanks pan

The light blue part is aluminum, back plate and hinge parts steel, the gray parts are some sort of polymer/composite, very strong as Ed demonstrated with the Leshiy Classic

Also, Ed doesn’t rely on screw threads in aluminum or polymer. He uses threaded steel tumblers or insert. Very solid.

Hey Fellas I just got a used L2 repr in 25 Saturday it shoots great but when I went to shoot it today it didn't have any air I checked the usual oring places a couldn't detect a leak using soapy water is there somewhere else to check?
Update I found my leak it was the bleed screw I thought I had checked it but I was checking the one on the bottom.

did you turn the reg down too far?
Not sure what happened, really. The reg was set to 170 bar, the gun sat for a few days after getting fully filled. When I got it out to play with it I discovered that it won't fire because it somehow dumped all air from the plenum and the reg is stuck.

Well wish me luck pushing that gauge, lol.

Are you new to this gun? The regulator is very sensitive to adjustments. It's easy to overdo it when adjusting.
