Absolutely my go to. The only thing I had immediately was my Diana K98 Mauser .22, iron sights. This thing hits like a freight train. 18 yds. Got them both with one shot. D1C41D3E-19EC-4E3D-BC30-C4E986F290A0.jpeg Their taking a dirt nap now. Coming out of tree like pin ball is tiring. Crow

The search party just left. He was 12 ft. below me, so I deliberately make noise the scare him up a tree. Shambozzie I retrieved the R9.
That bloody squirrel saw the rifle. No chance of a shot. He’s lucky. He’ll be back.
Been really dormant for the tree rats last couple months. Starting to show up in 2‘s and 3’s. Crow
Going to go shoot that R9.

It's been raining greys here since rut started. Now they're all out burying the bait nuts. Just gotta time it right when they grab the pecan and let the sear drop!

How much power is that Mauser putting out, I thought they were more of a novelty rifle.

Don’t know. Definitely one of my hardest hitting rifles. I’ll put a crony on it ASAP. This has been one of those sleepers. Crow
