Diana 460

The 460, 350, or even the HW80 I really don't see any reason to go .177 over .22 IF they are tuned for full power, which I personally would want but to each their own.

That being said, if the price was right on a .177 I wouldn't hesitate to buy that laser beam of a gun. The good people at JSB and H&N make heavier pellets for a reason right?

Nay,only if it is at a cost lower than $350... After you rebuild and tune it,also it can be a scope eater..
I am a nonenablabler=do my best to steer other away from air rifles that can be "problems" of course I can also be Wrong!
Believe me I have plenty of magnum springers. They do not get used much, unless I tune them down.....and they are still heavy.

I have an opportunity to buy a 10 yr. old Diana 460 .177. I do have a few Diana’s but I’m not familiar with the 460. I looked it up today and realized this spits them out at 1200 fps. I think this gun would be more desirable in .22. The .177 will be hard to control.
Any suggestions?
Crow
Hey crow I owned a 460 in 22 cal and told my wife (boss) that’s a gun that I will keep, very accurate and pleasant to shoot. Met at a friends house for a shoot with non airgunners! Sold the 460 and a mint silver streak just because they had kids that wanted them, no regrets but I was very impressed with the 460

Hard to control in any caliber due to the long stroke of the piston. I guess you could destroke it and tune it if the price is good enough?

My Motorhead tuned D460 .22 T06 is a laser. I wouldn't want one in .177. Like a V8 in a VW Beatle.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate your experience. Crow

Thanks. That was decent of you.
If it was a .22 I’d be all over it. I’m Leary because it’s .177. I don’t need a gun that takes wall space I don’t have. Crow
