gas pistons

If you ever need a teplacment ram ots going to be return to gamo or fit a "universal" type ram that may fit .
Gamo is not parts/ self repair friendly.

I shoot gamos and thay do well and can be long lasting. This latest one is now near 5 years old and been near 0 maintenance. Also lesson i learned is stick with models with the 3 or 5 year warranty.. the first uear of them gamo foots the bill then afyer that you just pay shipping to them . I only had one gamo ram fail and ot failed pretty quick . They say if the ram is bad ot gors bad within the first 100 or so shots . Unlike hatsans that can gail at any given time..lol.

The problem with the Gamo Magnum is that it weighs about 2lbs less than what it should. That little bit of extra weight really helps eat the excess recoil. That and its waaaay more power than you need in a break barrel.
Thank you again for more info I need all the help I can get. I would like to get in to PCP's some day but the cost of the guns and compresser it is a little much for me right now
