Howdy All!

New forum member here from Charleston, SC. My main interests are in firearms, but about a year and a half ago I bought a Crosman Shockwave .22. I had a 1st Gen Gamo Whisper prior that got lost in a move. That was a pretty fine rifle out of the box. This Shockwave is going to be a new focus for me. Wanted to introduce myself. Going to start a thread in the appropriate location for my Shockwave musings.

Quick question, this forum wouldn’t happen to have a Tapatalk version? I am big on documentation (pic and video). It’s super convenient for me to dump my uploads from my phone and not a hosting site. If not, we will adapt! Thanks all! Hope to contribute.

Hello Brent, do you like to shoot leverguns too?

Doc
Howdy, friend! See I have mosied on over here now. Just cut off the front site and polished the spot. Took off the rear sight…now I can’t stand empty holes. So I went head and cut the heads off the bolts. Sanded them flat and straight slotted them. Now we’re flush, life is good.

Yes I'm trying to find a champagne break barrel airgun on an initial beer budget. :)
Hatsan and Gamo in various guises seem likely contenders.
Like I said the Gamo I had was pretty much ready to go. Iron sights were excellent. This here rifle? The sights were un-able to be zeroed as was the “scope” it sent with. You kinda know me at this point. I’ll tinker with it til it’s good. I might set it aside a while and really enjoy shooting some .375 H&H for a long time, but I’ll come back lol!

Maybe this Crosman just needs some sweet talkin’! I’m gonna try!

Welcome Brent, Charleston is my home town. I grew up there. Spent 70 of my 72 years there. We moved just up the road to Summerville two years ago. I am fairly new to air guns but I am learning. The people on this forum will be pleased to help. If they don't know it. It hasn't been invented. Again welcome neighbor.

Howdy neighbor! Summerville? You’re just a hop skip up 26! I live in West Ashley, specifically! I am in the same boat as you in regard to pellet poppers. I’m more used to center and rimfire delights. I had started a thread over in (probably the wrong section) PCP guns. I am tinkering with a Crosman at current!

Reckon we’ll have to cross paths eventually, you’re too near not to! We will talk more.
