Now available from FX Airguns: the FX Chronograph Display & FX Chronograph Mount

The FX Pocket Radar Chronograph completely revolutionized the use of chronographs for airguns. It provided a completely portable, affordable and powerful chronograph that shooters could throw in their range bag or rifle case to be used at a moment’s notice and give the feedback and velocity data needed to get the most accuracy out of their air rifle. Now there are two more optional accessories to pair with your FX Chronograph to aid your shooting and tuning; the FX Chronograph Display and FX Chronograph Mount.

The FX Chronograph Display connects via Bluetooth to your FX Chronograph (while also allowing your chronograph to still connect to the FX Radar Smartphone App). Besides showing the feet per second for each shot taken instantly, the display can also be utilized to show magazine shot count, show the battery charge left in your chronograph, as well as other forthcoming display options. The display has a built-in battery that is recharged via USB-C cord. The FX Chronograph Display can either be mounted to the FX Impact directly behind the scope, or it comes with a picatinny adapter to allow for side mounting on many other air rifles.

As an alternative to strapping the FX Pocket Radar Chronograph to the end of your barrel, FX now offers the FX Chronograph Mount. This stiff carbon fiber rod attaches to any of the picatinny accessory rails of many rifles, and allows the perfect positioning of the FX Radar Chronograph without effecting POI should you take the Chronograph Mount off the rifle.

Both the FX Chronograph Mount and FX Chronograph Display are now starting to ship to your favorite FX Outdoors & FX Airgun dealers and importers worldwide. US Dealers should start receiving them by 11/20.

Nice, at least in the sense of not needing to touch phone,,,,,, and i very much like to not touch phone.
But i fear the price for this convenience for me personally are too high.

Also why are it not depicted on other FX rifles, it it in essence just another impact accessory ?

For sure it can not fit my Maverick like that, CUZ nothing there to put it on, and i can not put it on a side rail as then the display will be tilted the other way, and even if there was a sensor able to tilt the display the numbers would then be smaller + my vertical video hate ( intense ) would be triggered.
So ! some kind of adapter would be needed to mount on a side rail, just adding to the overall cost.

There is a picatinny mount included so you can mount on a side rail like what's on the Maverick, Dream-Tac and many other rifles.

Yeah i noticed that as that are not needed on the impact it seem, but that put the LCD on its side and way forward,,,, though of course probably not long enough that my tired old eyes cant read it.
But right there below the scope are nice ill give you that

Tried to find a price at any Euro sellers i have bookmarked, but had no luck.

I was thinking one could mod something to come off the scope rail, but then i remembered my back scope ring are also all the way back on that rail so cant be done.

But then the LCD are roundet on the top, maybe one could hang it off scope, like you would hang chrono off the barrel.

Obviously being in the U.K the price will be different depending on where and who you get it from. But in the US, they run for $229.99

Now FX just need to make a BT enabled sensor / maybe regulator, that would give you that pressure.
Though i think that will necessitate use of latest / new BT technology, and so also most expensive parts, to be paired to 2 things at once.

Well i assume as mentioned i am a avid phone hater, and as BT are mostly a phone thing i dont know much about it or phones.

I would as a V2 pocket chronograph prefer a unit where the main body are clamped to a accessory rail which i think most of us have empty, but then with the radar antenna on a short wire from the main unit to be placeable further out front on the rifle.

I am wondering if the radar units that are now in use or a accessory for some dashcams could be used on air rifles, i have seen some photos of these ( the PCB ) and they are actually pretty small.
These antenna appear to just be a PCB antenna, and so should be fairly cheap to mass produce, and a small 10 x 20 mm PCB + a plastic housing cant be expensive to make, ans so shooters could be able to leave that part of the system on rifle.

So if you dont have batteries and what not where the radar are,,,,, you can make things much smaller.
And i would prefer a small 10 gram unit on the barrel VS what ever the current pocket chronograph are,,,,, even if it dont seem to be a issue on any of my rifles, it is more of a design thing i think, we Danes being renowned for our minimalistic approach to design.

Could be cool if you could just leave the chrono on the rifle if you shoot the same one often, or maybe have separate radars on each rifle so you only move the main unit around,,,,, main unit could also have a LCD.

we all get misses with the fx chrony. whats best spot to locate the chrony? think way underneath the gun would not work well. i have the carbon bracket from huma same one your selling. seems like side up front best mounting iv found under the gun work well? wonder if you guys found best mounting location
