I wanted to purchase a impact 3 from the pellet shop with a tin of pellets the total was2288. I called and talked about the lcs airgun and the guy there convinced me it would be a better gun. they sent the lcs in one day after i called and asked them not to an hour after purchasing. they said it had already been boxed up and i couldnt switch back to FX. I sent the lcs back for a refund when it arrived in the post. they said i would have to pay for shipping back. the pellet shop refunded me 2117 bucks 171 short of what i paid for the lcs. This company should never be used if you want good customer service. what i mean is they should not have handled this purchase so greedily and underhandedly. The guy and girl there speak very highly of themselves and really critisizes other vendors. My advise stay away from these crooks and support your local vendors. Have a good day !

@thepelletshop has been nothing short of amazing to many here. You are complaining that they had great customer service and shipped out lightning fast (per usual from the pellet shop btw) and that you changed your mind.

It clearly states this in their shipping and return section.

Very first line.

They shouldnt have to refund or take things back because people change their mind, buyers remorse is not the sellers responsibility.... especially after its already been picked up by UPS.

Also not for nothing but TPS is local to many, I typically have my product in a business day from them. They are high on the list for many as a reputable vendor.

I have spent around 5k with The Pellet Shop in the last couple of months and Bin is by far the best I've dealt with in the industry. Not to be a prick, but it sounds like you didn't really have your mind made up about things in the first place and something to take into consideration is their time too. As a small business owner myself I can easily say that my time is not free! If I were you, instead of posting something like this publicly, give Bin a call and see what you can work out. I'm sure he would give you a deal good enough to make up for it. Also, I have never heard any of them speak poorly about another vendor, EVER! In fact, last month I had a problem with Utah Airguns because they sent an Accu-Tac bipod out to me requiring an over 21 signature which caused me to cancel a well planned hiking trip. I told Bin that he'd always be my 1st go-to guy for every airgun purchase from then on out and rather than criticizing them he told me that Utah Airguns are really cool people and that it was probably just their shipping department that made the mistake. When I bought my M3 Compact from The Pellet Shop last month, I tried to buy a spare mag with it and Bin said "no, I'll just throw one in for you." He also gave to me for free an extended foster fitting for my compressor to use with the M3.
Whatever your problem is with them, give them a chance to correct it and I'm sure they will.

There was nothing greedy or underhanded. You made a mistake, a good vendor shipped super fast, and you expect someone else to pay for it. Have you sent a long box insured for over 2 grand lately, to a residential address? Man up and quit whining because you messed up.

Ok again if youre going to lie about it, make sure its not something that can be easily proven. (remember all order transactions are recorded and dated with a time stamp)

CUSTOMER CALLS IN AND CHANGES HIS ORDER TO A LCS (Oct 17, 2022 3:04 PM)

The kicker is he calls in, holds us on the phone for almost an hour trying to have US to convince HIM that the LCS is a better gun for him (keep in mind at this point he already ordered the M3 sniper)

MY WORDS (almost quoted exactly) "I have about 6 other calls to make, if youre trying to have me convince you that the LCS is a better gun, i cant do that, every gun has a different purpose, if you want competition grade accuracy at longer ranges get the FX, its been used in competitions and has been proven, if you want a semi auto that will reach out to 100 yards then get the LCS. One is a sidelever competition rifle and the other one is a semi auto fun gun"

He was basically justifying to me why he believed the LCS would be better for him, He originally ordered the FX then calls in to explain to me why he believe the LCS is a better gun. He asked questions himself just to answer it himself and wanted me to agree with him. My response was the above. So at this point he wanted to change his order to a LCS so we did.

We then packed his order on (Oct 17, 2022 3:42 PM)

ORDERS WERE DROPPED OFF AT (Oct 17, 2022 4 PM)

He called AFTER its been dropped off and we explained the package is dropped off and we cant do anything about. We explained if he wanted to cancel at that point thats ok. When he received the package DO NOT OPEN IT and just send it back. We would have to charge him the ORIGINAL SHIPPING and have him cover the return shipping. The total refund amount would just be taking out the ORIGINAL SHIPPING COST and the 5% bank fee we incur for every purchase that is NON REFUNDABLE.

HE AGREED. Instead of covering the return shipping, he refused the package instead. When a package is refused and returned to us, WE GET CHARGED THE SHIPPING ALSO.

Hence why the $171.

Let me break it down for you for full transparency.
Order Total was $2,338.98
5% bank fees of that is $116.94
Shipping each way including insurance and signature required was about $28-30 ($58-$60 total)
Thats a total of $172 we would lose because you couldnt make up your mind.

He informed us that he would be buying it from @North East Airguns

WE HAVE NEVER ONCE SAID ANYTHING BAD ABOUT ANY DEALER. WE EVEN MENTIONED THAT WE WOULD BE AT THE @North East Airguns AIRGUN COMPETITION IN APRIL AND WE WOULD LOVE TO MEET HIM THERE.

HEY DENNIS IN CASE YOU DIDNT KNOW THIS INDUSTRY IS PRETTY CLOSE KNIT. US DEALERS HELP EACHOTHER OUT. SO PLEASE STOP STIRRING UP UNNECESSARY FALSE DRAMA. NEXT TIME WHY DONT YOU CALL US DIRECTLY INSTEAD OF SLANDERING US ON AIRGUN NATION.

EDIT. Forgot, a picture says 1000 words. I edited out the phone number for privacy reasons. Order was sent on the 17th he contacts us again to confirm he doesnt want it on the 18th. We notified him VERY clearly that there will be a 5% fee and he HAPPILY agreed. Funny how the entire narrative changes when theres proof.

OP Contacts us after posting this saying hes going to report this to the BBB and attorny general.

This thread had the OPPOSITE effect the OP intended. The pellet shop not only shipped out faster than most outfits but also went against their policy to promptly refund the customer. That’s A1 service in my book. I don’t know how these dealers put up with this BS lol

THANK YOU "TPS" for presenting the other side of the "truth" which is NOT a subjective thing (especially when one side has the transaction documented so succinctly!). I have no tolerance for trashing one's reputation on this forum, it happened to me once over something minor (which I MORE than made right) but it still stung. I've never dealt with TPS but would have no qualms trusting them with my money based upon the truthful, responsible & MATURE response to the OP. DON'T TRASH SOMEONE'S REPUTATION WHEN NOT WARRANTED! In this case it wasnt!!!
