Notice I said airguns. I mean really how many of us just own one.

I selected whenever possible. I may go a week without shooting them and then the next week I may shoot several days. In my own yard I can shoot out to about 18 yards easily(to 30 yards if I want to get a bit uncomfortable). But a 20 minute drive out to my grandparents old property I can shoot out past 100 yards. I mostly shoot steel. I love welding my own targets and making up new designs so I’m always testing how they work.

I'm thinking about shooting every day, but that wasn't the question. I actually get my gear out there at least a few times a week, so that was how I answered. I keep cans hanging around, and some steel targets at known distances on my home range to make it easier to get out and shoot whenever I get a minute. Just about every time my computer goes stupid, I will be out there firing off a few rounds while it is rebooting.

I make it a point to shoot mine everyday, a lot of days are just a couple shots at a spinner in my yard or out the window. My wife likes to gripe about me buying stuff I don’t use very often, so I rub it in her face with airguns (all in fun of course). Maybe miss 10 days a year, I live in a country boys playground though so it’s easy.

I put a few times a week but that's only because I've been building a garage and getting chickens and dogs and stuff for the new ranch. Believe me I'll be shooting every day once I got my range up. I'll have 100 yards to work with. Should be awsome. I might go every other day if I get back into archery tho. I can't afford to shoot powder burners every day so airguns are how I stay sharp.

I’m in the Midwest and it seems we have far less mosquitoes this year. I have not been bothered at all with any insects while shooting and I’ve only seen a couple of them this year, which is really weird. Have any of you noticed any similar changes?
I did not think about this until I read your post but you are correct. Now that I think about it I've seen no mosquitoes and few other flying bugs. No complaints! I also live in the mid west.I

I normally shoot my air guns a couple of times a week when the weather cooperates and I'm not busy with chores. I also allow for time to shoot powder burners.
