Yet another Yong Heng thread

I'm debating on purchasing a Yong Heng for the sole purpose of topping of my airgun. The gun is an Edgun Lelya (178CC cylinder.) I will most likely be going from 150 - 250 bar. I would really like to purchase one that doesn't require the use of water and water pump but I just don't see anything that looks very dependable.

My questions are:
1. How long do you think it would take the YH to top of the Lelya?
2. What size bucket would i need for the water?
3. Would ice be needed for a quick top off?
4. Am I overlooking any other pump that might work for my requirements?

I have a 74 cu ft tank that I will probably continue to get filled at the dive shop and use it when I don't have electricity available.

If I do purchase a YH I will make sure and follow the suggestions in another thread to make sure it is a genuine YH.

Thanks,
Terry

1. About 3-4 minutes
2. At LEAST a 2 gal bucket, preferably 5
3. Not necessarily, if you have fan(s) blowing on YH. I don't think it would generate dangerously high temp in that short a run time.
4. IMHO I think a YH would be your best bet
NOTE: I have all my cooling equipment (water pump, 2 fans, 1 front & 1 back) running off 1 power strip so all I need do is hit one power switch to turn them on before running the compressor. I only top off SCBA tanks & have never had a heat problem so I think YOUR application would work fine

i set mine up by the sink and just fill the sink .. probably take 2 mins to top a gun, with one of those foot long gold filters, id use one of those, locate it high and vertical .. theyre loud though, your better half probably wont be thrilled if your at it all day lol .. get her some ear plugs lol .. when your done break everything down, goose alittle pressure washer pump protectant in the water jacket .. open the filter, pull out the cartridge, wipe off any water, wipe it all down with silicone oil, oil all the orings and fosters and let it sit open on tje table for a day before putting it together and putting away and you wont habe any trouble ...

I've had 3 Lelyas, takes about 30 seconds.
