Did you mention tinker minded ?

i bought a Ruger MK IV for laughs and giggles a while back mounted a short Weaver-Pic rail to it shot it a few times and bagged it
the trigger is horrible not just bad but horrible
saw something yesterday and got it out and retested and the trigger did not change in the bag damn LOL
found a video to take it apart and did so today changed the springs in the trigger group cleaned up the grease in there did some polishing put it back together and test
the trigger is horrible still, it has the dumbest trigger group i have ever seen, well maybe that is not true the BSA Scorpion is strange but wow it is great
never buy one of those Ruger's, even if it was free i would not what another
to tinkerer is to make or fix but not always, sometimes you just waste your time
I had a winchester break barrel that also had a miserable trigger, after several attempts to fix it, i gave it to a friend, he thinks it's great.

Buying Compressor Oil Locally

I dumped Royal Purple after first 3 hours, it has an odor running in my 2019 YH, but seems fine in my 200 psi shop compressor. I'm staying with Seco 500 unless another ester based oil catches my eye. None of the big dive compressor companies use the likes of Royal Purple, was a big hint. On the other hand you have many good people that cannot justify expensive oil in a cheap compressor, no? Me, I baby the YH...anything not to have to deal with overseas mail order.

Beeman  Kodiak Island

The .25 were oversized in most . unchoked for sure. Webley only used choked barrels in the Longbow as they were Lothar Walther barrels . Over in the Uk ,the rumored to make a few short stroke 13 inch LW Tommys late in their last run .. I’ve not seen a factory one. Tight piston seals and pre flare the skirt and they are shootable in factory form

rebarrel and they are 100% different gun for the better. .

These are factory Patriots with Webleys so called walnut ..The top one is one I sold that was so blond I named it the Golden Eagle. , this latter just sold one bay for pennys I passed as I do not need anymore nor like factory stocks. I was surprised it sold so cheap.

My .25 Tomahawk barrel is 13"
BARREL

"2000-2002 production had 15” Webley barrels. From 2002, they had 13” Lothar Walther barrels (originally advertised as the “Carbine” version at slightly higher cost). Production, or sales, overlapped."

Replica's

It's hard to beat the old Crosman and SW. Pistols like the 38c and 38t especially in .22 cal. And the Mark 1 or the SW78. All replicas of Pistols, made during the glory days of co2.
I agree the Benjamin .22 Cal is awesome, 1 c02 cartage, single fire and is as accurate as the day I bought it. Hard hitting also. I even mounted a 3x Bushnell scope on it and it was accurate at 35 yards. No cheap stuff on that gun, Walnut grips, no plastic all metal (looks like Brass and steel. Solid as a rock and a it has a rifled barrel.

(Note: I found out that the C02 .22cal pistole is a final series of C02 workmanship. Made only in 1991 under the Benjamin/Sheridan/Crosman names. At a time when companies were downsizing and moving to other countries for "cheaper labor costs" (and cheaper parts). That makes this gun 34 years old. They do NOT make BB/Pellet guns like these anymore.
I did find the "Owners Manual" and the "Exploded Parts Diagram" of the gun. All labeled BENJAMIN.

Sights on your guns

On my practical/pesting airgun (Leshiy 2) I usually have a thermal scope on it, for night-time pesting. When I take it to the range to use with my son it'll either have a red dot or iron sights.

I have two Crosman P1322s, one is set up as a pistol with a laser pointer (one where the beam width is adjustable) and the other is as a carbine . . . and right now it doesn't have any aiming device on it. I suppose I haven't used that one in some time.

JTS  Airacuda max 22 slugs at 100yds

Normally we shoot at 50 and 100 meters. Lately I've been training mainly with my Sinner for the last 100 meter match. Now I also won a Panthera in a lottery and I have to get back to work on it. As soon as I continue with the JTS, I will report. I have to many rifles:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.
Sounds like a good problem to have.

Events  PSA - Indoor Field Target - December 10, 2023 - Palmyra, PA

Palmyra Sportsmen's Association (near Hershey, PA) - Indoor Field Target - Sunday, December 10, 2023.

Targets are placed at ranges between 10 yards and 22 yards. This event is a great way to get introduced to field target, have fun, or practice for the upcoming outdoor season.

Targets will be set to an AAFTA legal difficulty for standing position shots. If you are an experienced FT shooter, we encourage you to shoot the entire course standing. You are not required to shoot the standing position, there are no position restrictions for this event, shoot whatever positions you feel comfortable.

Since the targets are not placed at long distances, this event provides an opportunity to use guns more suited to shorter distances. You may consider shooting a multi-pump pellet gun (no BBs), pistols, or guns that shoot at lower energy levels than required for the outdoor game.

The course is 5 lanes with two targets per lane, 2 shots per target. Courses are set using rifle difficulty, but you can shoot with pistol.

Guns must not exceed 20 fpe (foot-pounds of energy) at the muzzle.

This event is held in our clubhouse on our indoor rifle range. We will be open for sign-ups between 9AM and 1PM. Cost is $5 per round, you can re-enter as many times as time allows.

Thinking about showing up to this one. I’ll have the Crosman FT Challenger on hand with a bunch of new Benjamin single die pellets as well. Also future endeavors that Airgun Revisions will be bringing to the FT community.
I’m only an hour away.

N/A  Whats everyones prefered tool/method for honing/de-burring a main tube?

I too

I've been doing the cleaning rod in the drill thing thing with 600grit sandpaper and then 1500grit and then 14000grit stropping compound. Got the job done and got it done real nice, but is a major pain.
My understanding has been you don't want to go too polished on the compression tube because moly paste needs something to adhere to. I do go finer on the piston and spring ends but never anything finer than 1500.
