Yet to be determined ... but will follow up when I canSo, how do you like it? Is it fussy to use?
Thanks..... we went on the hunt yesterday and it was Awesome....we got our limits of squirrels....I got four grays and two huge fox squirrels and my son in law got five grays and one fox squirrel...I'm going to smoke them this evening on my Traeger pellet grill....Nice looking gun and groups, good luck with the hunt. BTW where did you get the charging handle at or did you make it ? I could use one on my Tact II 60.
@Rex1977 Feel free to read what you like across the forums. There are plenty of threads discussing the Benjamin Bulldog. Just keep in mind that when commenting on threads, if you find yourself deviating off topic make it a point not to goo too far on a tangent and bring the conversation back around to the topic(s) in the original post. In this thread the subject is a carry handle for the Bulldog.Oh, I see.
I will find another thread to read then, sorry.
Thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely fabricate something to fit the dents.First, the spring has a good bit of tension but NO preload on the ball at rest with the arm released.. You can spin the ball freely with your fingertip. There should be no tension on the ball that would work it out of the soft metal each time you cock the gun. Just enough to hold the arm when it's at it's rest position. For something like that I might grind a straight blade screwdriver blade to fit the little existing "dent". A little row of center punches from an automatic center punch might also do a nice job. They are very easy to control accurately. And adjustable impact as well. Very handy little tool that can be had cheap. Might be good to blunt the sharp point some and attempt to push the metal slightly in the direction you need it to go to form the swage that holds the ball in.
Best wishes with your repair.
Thank you, I'll try to contact them.Brian and veradium air machines these. Give him a shout
used my 30 exactly the same way just the other day , Best Doctor in town !Sorry to hear about your current case of bad luck, a good plinking session is just what the doctored ordered.
Beautiful looking 30S btw!
Thats great. It should last, with occasional repairs. Had the old leather seal "Cummings Tools Truck" $20.00 (and a sleeve of 10 pellets that would blow to pieces 1-2"s from leaving the barrel). Hadn't ever seen one before but needed a rear site and thought $20 for that reasonable. Took it apart to install a synthetic seal & adapter but left it apart for ages.
Did get it put back together and the darn thing shot decent groups at 605fps. Cheap enough to have fun trying things to the stock also.
