I used the lower mount on the red dot and removed the peeps today. It worked absolutely great, but it was too ugly to leave on there. I put the peeps back on and relegated the red dot to defend the homestead on PBs. That is all.

Which NV scope do you like best?

Today tested some knockout slugs and some H&N 21 grain slugs through the cut rifled barrel but couldn't achieve any reasonable accuracy.

Anyone shoots slugs with RAW cut barrels?

i have a hawke 2-7x32 on my seneca big bore. for shots under 100 yards, a couple mil dots is all you need!
If i were to replace it, it would be for an athlon argos 4-14FFP that i have on every single other airgun i have!

Trucker3573 nailed it. I have 3 Cx2 compressors at different locations and had a Cs3 and a cs4. I got rid of the 3&4 because they were more than I needed. I only fill guns and for that they can't be beat. I actually gave one to a fellow who bought the cs3 and told him to abuse it. Nine months later he bought my cs3 and returned the cs2. There was some small amount of corrosion in the gauge block and that was it. Of all that I have none have failed and I've had one fully apart to see wear and it was near perfect.

I’ve bought a couple of rifles on the forums and have been very lucky so far.

I recently sent money F and F though PP. I did my investigation into the members profile and cross referenced his phone and address. Older member with a modest amount of posts …. Still you get the uneasy feeling when you hit “pay “”
You just never know. Someone leaving the hobby for good might turn.
