The brown truck arrived today. The IO 5x30-Pro finally arrived.
This was a original 5x30 mounted on the L2 with not soo much comfortable eye relief, I had to stretch my neck to get a full eye box.:



This is the new 5x50-Pro with extended eye relief, the eye box is very comfortable posture now.



You can see how many slots in the rail moved forward.

Thank you, I hope all of us learned something through this journey.

Would explain how the shots were busting straight through squirrels a week ago while hunting. Used my Dreamline tuned to 750 fps and needed more than a few shots on a couple of them. Found some shots that blasted straight through with little to no damage to the meat. May have to stick with the softer stuff for hunting and JTS for paper punching. They do kill targets very nicely.

I’m not familiar with the 500x action that’s something I haven’t seen before? It may be based off the 1000x action, Does it have the same footprint as the 1000x? First two set screws for barrel, third for thimble on my BM- 500. Mine is just .177 or .22 for short range 25m or 50yd. My newest TM uses a thimble as well.

Hey, thanks! I think my issues with PC had more to do with barrel cleanliness. Also found the action bolts have to be checked periodically. The PC slugs and pellets look great. I'll play with them some more after I finish exploring a couple other rabbit holes.

Really enjoyed the Strelok app with my powder pushers and like you said..one day it was a No-Go when I tried put it on my new phone. The info it gave was priceless in the field for those stretched out shots but I tend to enjoy tech. Looking forward to the element 1500 / Arken glass with new Tiapan or the Thermnight data when used. Hoping to tune it in to lower the SD.

The HW77 is an awesome rifle, certainly heirloom quality. The PG4 kit works great in my HW77. Very easy shot cycle and easy to cock and load. The long cocking arm makes for a very ergonomic rifle. I have had the best results with H&N Baracuda Match 10.65 452 head size. Custom Stocks UK offers some really nice stock upgrades. I look forward to hearing about your results.

I was able to get a hold of Joe. His email on his website works. It did not work for whatever reason back a few months ago when I was trying it. I tried again for the heck of it earlier today and he emailed me back a couple hours later. He is still in the custom air rifle and regulator business.

I shot close to 300 .177 rounds today. I was chasing my zero. So I called skout and Had a great conversation with Bill the owner on some of my observations. He’s sending out a single shot magazine as soon as they can build it. Amazing company!

What is the difference in weight between the stock steel airtube and this aluminum tube? I've been wanting an aluminum tube for quite a while, did not know someone had started making them again.

Though not the same platform, I went thru a similar contortion with my Cothran build. Started with a 24" barrel and airtube. That yielded like 300 ft/lbs on 3500psi with a 370 grain slug from an "Accurate" mould. Went to a 32" barrel and airtube and a 350 grain slug from a Lee mould. Now making better than 400 ft/lbs on 3000psi. Along the way I tried tons of different slugs all the way up to the old standard 405 grain slug for the 45-70 cartridge, even roundballs. 350 grains seems to be the best overall weight for energy in my rifle at least. And I have heard others make mention that they are using 350 grain slugs predominantly as well.

Does anyone out there know or have had any experience with the ''Magnet Lock Magazines'' made in Canada? I have a FX Bobcat that could use a couple of magazines. Only one person seems to be selling them in Canada. He has them for the Bobcat. Just not sure of the quality. I can't find any information on these mags. Thanks.

Thanks, I thought so. I just needed some validation before I started ordering parts. I took the reg apart and lubed it up but got no joy. Inspected the o-rings but with my eyes I couldn't see any thing. I think it's about time to call Huma.
