Most .20 conversions are done with LWs, and they're 12 land and grooves. I've heard of guys using HW .20s but they're also 12 land and grooves. Yours is looking like maybe six? lands and grooves???

In the vid, it almost reminds me of a 3 groove TJ, with the narrow land imprints....but I'm unaware of TJ ever offering a .20. My next guess would be one of the old Korean guns, like a Career, as their rifling was comparable, if memory serves. The Career barrels can be quite accurate....

I was researching that " what barrel" he got myself and came back here looking at his pictures and scratch my head ...lol i eas like " dont look 12 but then dont look 10 ..

If nothing else reach out to that air gun revision dude hes a Benjamin guru i guess . He may have a parts pile gun that he could let go cheap if nothing goes right on that one .

They are getting the results out slow but as far as what gun and ammo we used they did not ask us to put that in the survey. I used 4 guns, well actually 5 guns because I had a valve stick and had to go to my backup gun for speed. AEA and JSB pellets. Slugs were swaged using a Corbin press.

I have no problem with the mechanical aspect of tuning Airguns or refinishing stocks, adding butt pads or pistol grip caps.
However, I had planned to make my own stocks and checker them. After buying the checkering tools and practicing, I realized my eyes cannot focus for long time periods and my checkering was abysmal. I think if I had learned how in my youth, I‘d have some solid practice guidelines that would make up for not seeing the lines consistently.

Thanks very much. I hadn't picked up a checkering tool in over ten years, so I was pretty rusty. Also, I only had one new set of cutters and they dulled up very quickly. There's nothing more "shetchy" than checkering with dull tools. I understand the focus issue too. You end up going cross-eyed after a while. When your eyes start to give out, it's time to stop. Ask me how I know....

22 cal. for now but, I will get the 177 and maybe the 25. That was one of the deciding features was the optional additional barrel kits.

Hi thanks for the information. Yes his name is Baxter Walton and he is a legend in the Hatsan world. But I don't think he is in the game anymore. I've found a few of his videos but not on the information I seek. Hey I appreciate the response and suggestions. Hope you have a one ragged hole kind of day.

The P12 was a knock off of the Edgun Matador 2.5 correct? If so would Edgun parts work? I do have a Edgun 2.5, however I have never opened it up personally. Where would one source a schematics for both?

Thanks for sharing. Great Club great people, always. And yes Brad deserves Much credit all the way around in the world of airguns. Met Brad for the 1st -and my 1st FT try- time at the old TVA (LOVED the hunter course!) . Turned to the misses and said "this is the guy responsible for my 1st 200 airguns" then turned back to Brad who had a rather concerned look on his face and I told him "the classifieds".
Certainly do miss all the good times down South.

Yes, that's why the reg recovers so fast. Love it!

First, did you discharge the air out of the bottle just wondering and another thing is FX uses a lot of Loctite on those threads you need to heat that thing up before trying to undo the FX valve from that bottle

Check with Utah Airguns. If they are coming to the US market, UA would be the first place to get them.

@dodge3500 The longer you shoot into that trap, the more those bales will get pulverized. Be mindful of the lead dust that will be in there once you decide to empty it. Some sort of mask and goggles are good to have on hand.

While this thread has a few air gun related axioms, it's definitely NOT air gun related (eyeglasses).

My apologies for the late field target match report, I have no excuses. We had a wonderful turnout for our first match of the year. It was a beautiful sunny day that ended up in the eighties. The bright sun made target visibility a challenge for some targets. We will make a change in kill zone color next month from day-glow orange to white, hopefully this will help. We had 10 shooters primarily due to the efforts of Dave and Rod who sponsored a fun shoot on range two last month. That event was so successful we will try and have it again next year.

My first airgun as an adult was a Gamo, and it had the same issue; wanted to shoot low. I got to experience the joys of MOA adjustment, with added springer flavor.

That is one beautiful gun!! (And I like the turret rest!)
