Have I breached an etiquette by inquiring into airgun supressor technology

I am new to airguns and am enthusiasticly interested in modern pcp technology which is novel and new to me.
I posted questions out of intellectual curiosity and have now been banned from responding to member classifieds.

I served in the Marine Corps and keep my honor clean, nothing up my sleeve.

Am I banned from making purchases from member classified now?
Thank you for your service my airgun friend!

Need some info on LPVOs and SFP scopes

About 2 years ago I had my AR-15 with a G2 knocked off the bench and it marred the hell out of the top turret. To this day, that rifle holds a zero every time I bring it to the range.

I also have a Rem 700 .270 with a Monstrum 6-24 on it. It is my ranch rifle and gets banged around my truck and UTV all the time. It's one of my most dependable rifles.

As far as the glass goes, it is far better than the other $100 trash scopes that you see on Amazon. They are pretty decent for the price. One con I do have is at 3x+ magnification you cannot focus on a target at 10 yards. There have been a number of times where I was at 6x magnification clearing pigeons at 30-60 yards and then one lands in the tree above me at 10ish yards. You need to drop to -3x or your focus will be fuzzy. It's understandable though as that is a drawback to any scope with no parallax adjustment.

One other thing to be aware of. All the Monstrum scopes have a fairly large center dot in their reticle. It's not a big deal on a SFP scope but can get annoying on a FFP scope at high magnification. I would say it is close to a 1 MOA dot as it looks like it matches the 1/4" center circles on my targets at 20 yards. So at 50 yards at 6x magnification it will probably cover a bird's head.
Okay thanks for the info...
For now I will stick with the Veyron, they are lighter than some LPVOs even, I'll have to do more research on a decent one

Suggested FPS for 25 cal

Air,
Have original Gauntlet in .25, recently upgraded to the 2100 regulator and larger bottle found in the G2. Always accurate with JSB (33.95 grain) MK1s, tried MKIIs and accuracy suffered, returned to MK1s, accuracy back. Consider trying MK1s, same label on tin, just lacking black circle with "MKII," might be pleasantly surprised. WM

Daystate  Easier to control rifles.

I think longer, conventional rifles are so much better in this regard for the simple reason that they have a higher "polar moment of inertia." This speaks to the amount of energy needed to change the radial position of something, as it is a measure of the inertia of the object around an axis, not just in a linear manner - which is the only way most people think of inertia.

Think of it this way - if you have a three foot long dowel rod and put two one-pound weights on it, but allow those weights to vary in location, you get very different results even if the system balances the same. Put the weights in the center six inches apart, and then compare that to having the two weights at the very ends of the rod thus far apart - both will have the same balance point, but the one with the weights in the center will be "twitchy" to keep pointed in a fixed direction compared to the other.

This is really just a deeper dive into MysticalDragon's point about weight distribution . . . .

I find my most stable, easiest to shoot offhand gun is my Daystate Air Ranger, followed by my Marauders. My Huben (which I love) and my Sidewinder (which I am warming up to) are much harder to shoot as well as I find them to be "twitchy" - they deflect off the aim point much faster and easier than the Air Ranger.

NLA WTB EDgun Lelya .25 BAT moderator (plus other accessories)

-I would like any custom moderators or extended baffle systems that will work on the .25cal Lelya 2.0, even a new full custom shroud...high end work preferred like a real carbon fiber build.... BUT mainly want the official BAT moderator:

www.edgun.shop

ALSO:
-the de-pinger kit from Edgun West I'd be interested in trying it out... or a custom one that was made for the gun, or are capable of making one for me

-adapter that lets you add your own Moderator to the stock one (made by EagleVision) wouldn't mind a used one that someone isn't using before ordering one

-barrel band with picatinny/weaver rail to be able to attach a bipod under the air tube, or the kind that holds the shroud+tube together, any type is fine as long as it fits (35mm I believe)

If you have any of these or can make what I need, please PM me or email [email protected]

Diana  diana 48 suggestions on replacement muzzle devices/ full length shroud?

Hector does indeed make a high performance muzzle weight (HPM) for the 48/52. Pics below from Hector. Uses o-rings so you can tune your gun to your preferred pellet, just like in article Hateful linked. Looks like the one in pic has several o-rings in place, that’s why it’s extended past the barrel. It has 6 screws rather than 2 so it won’t loosen. That was a huge issue with the 56 T/H and his stays put on that gun. Custom order, $80. Just ordered mine LOL so if you want one now might be a good time to let him know. Everything I’ve gotten from him is top notch. Link to his website below should be able to contact him there.
