Wowzer Burris rings!

They work well with the UTG or other brands of dovetail to picatinny adapters. I have a Hatsan that has a non picatinny standard but picatinny looking dovetail / multi slot rail on it and it needed the inserts.

Yes, it's a weaver rail and a poor choice on Hatsan's behalf since it severely limits the choice of rings unless you use the dovetail instead. I actually found a .5" picatinny riser on Amazon that has adjustable spacing between mounting bolts so I was able to install it on my 135's weaver rail allowing me to run picatinny rings/mounts.

A lot of brands use weaver/picatinny interchangably when describing their mounts but it's misleading since they aren't the same thing. Picatinny uses a standard consistent spacing where weaver has inconsistent spacing between channels. Most weaver mounts will fit picatinny but most picatinny will not fit Weaver.

Monstrum is one of the few budget brands that actually acknowledges the difference between the two rail types and sells true weaver rings. Since weaver is actually a brand not just a rail type, you can also buy Weaver branded rings and mounts that will fit on a 135 as well.

Olympics Ammo

Unless you are a top level competitor shooting 10M I would just call Neal Stepp at ISS (yes you need to call him he is 81 and doesn’t really do the internet) and order a sleeve of RWS Basics for around $60. This guy has everything when it comes to ISSF shooting sports. A really nice guy too. http://www.iss-internationalshootersservice.com/. He was a top level competitor himself and former TCU rifle team coach. He buys pellets by the pallets and has boxes of pellets stacked up everywhere. Whatever 10M pellet you want he has them. Except Vogel. Buy Vogel from Vogel in CO Springs.

is 2 guns the solution?

After a two year period of battling raccoons, rats and mice I have very few problems -- for the past three years. This year !one! raccoon tried to come into our yard.

I think what's going on is our property has a bad reputation among the racoons. That, and several of our other neighbours offer greener pastures. So I don't see any raccoons, other than the dumb young ones.

What I think that means is you either live a long way from your neighbours, or they're stingier than you.

I had more trouble with ravens this year, than with raccoons.

.25. JTS vs AA 25.39 Gr

10 shot groups at 84 yards from Daystate Wolverine Forester R HP - 7 mph cross wind. One on the right is AA 25.4. One on the left is JTS 25.4.

JTS appears to be slightly better than the AA but with the 7 mph wind and only one group each probably not conclusive.

Wouldn’t be afraid to chamber either and take a critical shot.

Traditional Rifle  SOLD Air Arms TX200 MKIII .177

SOLD

Asking $600 shipped.

Selling Air Arms TX200 MKIII .177. Just sits in the safe, so I would rather just move it on to someone else who will enjoy it.

Shoots 10.3gr around 730fps and 8.4gr around 810fps.

It is Beech. It is in very very good condition, rarely shot. Only one mark that doesn’t go down thru the finish, on lower edge that I tried to get a picture of.

I prefer PayPal F&F, but will consider MO or Check depending on the buyer.

If in North Carolina, I can meet you and save on the price due to savings in shipping.

RIFLE ONLY, no accessories.

Western Airguns  Just for hunting purposes, under which circumstances you would choose another rifle.....?

well as much as some calibers are touted, nothing beats a bigger gun for going after larger stuff, and truth is you usually only get one shot on larger animals, you may need a followup to polish it off but if it isnt incapacitated on the initial shot its usually gone super fast .. semi wont help .. and yeah ive seen people take larger stuff with a .25, done it myself, but also had alot of larger things run off ... most wont, from say a .35 or .45 ..

Kalibrgun  Cricket tactical 2 .22 accuracy problem

Found the issue that was causing inaccuracy to 18 grain jsb pellets.

Removed the barrel and found that it is really un choked.

But the real problem was that the barrel was tighter at the breach. It was so much tight at breach that after the breach the pellets started free fall all the way out of the muzzle.

I polished the tight spot at breach to the extent that now 18 grain pellets after crossing problematic area remain snug in the barrel all the way out of the barrel from the muzzle.

Tested jsb 18 grain at 24 yards. It's one holer now.

Thank you for the input friends.

Regards,

Bhaur
