Bulldog shuts the 'special kitty' down

well you can use anything your comfortable with .. after having a couple of larger pests run off from being hit with a full auto burst from the blitz AND a headshot from a 60ftlb+ .25 .. it was time to move up in lethality .. yes, a well placed perfect shot from even a good .177 would likely take most things out, but this is the real world, shots likely wont be perfect, and the stakes are high with my chickens lives .. a bigger gun is more positive, much more positive ..
I agree 100%. You have to do what you have to do....and you finished it perfect. Great shot and thanks for sharing it with us

Airforce  .257 texan info ?

Tethering at 3000 psi there are maybe some cheaper options. M18x1.5Thread tank with regulator 4500 psi to 3000psi. Check eBay or Amazon. Regulator$20-$40.00. Paintball regulator 4500 psi to 3000 psi. Small 1 L and tank with regulator tethered to Texan. Small tank easy for you to fill with small compressor. Probably get slot of shots from 1L tank regulated to your 257 Texan. This might be something to consider🤔🤔🤔

Quietest moderator for 30 Cal FX Impact Compact

Rather than edit my post (#3), I’ll share what I learned from the new Airgun Capital aluminum moderator.
Moderator arrived yesterday. Super easy to assemble/disassemble. Probably not necessary to disassemble it on an airgun since there’s no gun powder involved.
Without the use of a sound meter I would say it is the same report as my 0dB moderator. It’s a touch heavier but not by much. It is very well built with flawless finish even on the internal cones.
The nicest part, considering the noise level compared to the 0dB is that it’s $50 cheaper than the 0dB. To a Slovenian, that’s huge. 😆

UTG 130BDX Crossbow Scope👍👍👍

In the last year I bought one UTG 130 BDX crossbow scope and two more for my best friends.. Two are on identical Umarex Airsaber and two the other on a Killer Instinct Boss 405 crossbow.... I set all three up using a chronograph.... Started with a bore signter at 20 yards. Very top of reticle is 20 yards. After that set speed ring or scope power to velocity from chronograph. Go to 50 yards and center of cross hair and sight in perfectly. After that I've shot all 3 to 120 yards... Practical limit ...The Airsaber are more accurate than the X-bow,but the cheap $250.00 Killer Instinct crossbow hit target dead center at 120 yards. The reticle is awesome👍. Illuminated with numbers in 10 yard increments etched into reticle. Also a built in level in the scope....I swear it s the best way too see and use a level for long rang arrows. Dots on both sides for wind age in 10 mph wind. I can shoot some pretty amazing groups with the Airsaber and UTG at 100 and 120 yards. Anyway s if you need a scope for bow season o highly recommend the UTG BDX 130...price on Amazon this year from $125.00 to $200.00 new depending on time of year.

Brocock/BRK  American Air Arms EVOL Mini .22 vs Brocock and other compacts questions

Hey guys, figured I'd give you all an update.

Like I wanted from the start, the Evol Mini was just out of my price range for now. I still am in love with this gun and Dana's (MountainSport Airguns) survival challenge videos is basically the main factor for my choices...

The Atomic did pretty well and an awesome little gun in general...fitting my needs for backyard plinking and occasional pesting (with easy power adjustments) So for now, I decided to go with one in .22... really thankful for Tristan over at Atlas Airguns, the only person who had 1 left in stock. He was even able to get it out to a passing UPS driver's truck for within the hour processing and shipping! Amazing transaction, will be dealing with him again for sure.

I have a compressor coming in this week which will let me shoot some guns I've had in a safe for over a year and by Wednesday the Atomic and all the accessories (new compact scope, bipod, moderator, etc) should arrive and I'll update you guys with some pics...

The Evol platform with the updated version in .223 cal are coming out hopefully soon...I love the Paradigm too. They by far seem like the best choice for me in a long range setup, just this time I will have to save up and the Brocock was more readily available to me funds wise. Maybe one day I'll even grab an Evol Mini too.

Thanks everyone for reading my random "whatever-comes-to-mind" style posts nd for helping me decide!

(I'm still going to be keeping an eye out for a Lelya as well, in my eyes, they're just too cool to pass up)
This is great to hear. I sold my atomic 22 and regret, so i bought another one in 25. Can’t find one in 22 so I bought a Niksan tacto-s
