GX-CS4 finally arrived...

At first I didn't like that the power source for using AC was separate, but I like it now, makes the unit smaller and lighter. I do take it with me to the range, kinda have to if I want to shoot my gk1 at full power.

I already had a sound system with a 2nd AGM battery wired in parallel to my main AGM battery, the 2nd is easily accessible in the back. (Its better to have your power wire between battery and amp as short as possible, and 2 batteries gives me capacity to play music for 10 hours without running the engine, hence the 2nd battery in the back. Great for camping) I can set stuff on top of the sub box like guns and the compressor and use it without having to lift my hood, and its covered by my car roof if it starts raining, which has happened. having 2 AGM batteries gives me so much capacity that I can run the compressor without needing the car engine running. Worked out well, would never have thought that my sound system would synergize so well with my airgunning

N/A  Diana Model 35

I would not update to new modern seals unless it is absolutely necessary. Keep it original if possible. A good interior cleaning and proper oiling is most likely all that’s needed. But as stated, be certain the gunsmith has experience with this older type airgun.
Definitely agree. Again, the leather seals in these are top-drawer quality, and the 35 isn't gonna be an elephant gun no matter what seal you put in it anyway.

AND NOTE, the screw holding the piston seal on is locked into place by a small pin driven across the front of the piston, with a "blind" end. So you cannot drive the pin out - you have to turn the screw hard enough to shear it. Doable, but a pain, and another reason to keep the leather seal if it's in good shape.

N/A  gamo pellets safe for benjamin.

it's a hb 22. I'll check fps. Crossman pointed pellet went to page 46 on book and didn't deform.jsb bounced off but left a dent. I'll just stick to lead and add a Xtra pump.
They will also shoot spitwads ... We use to make them up to shoot carpenter bees in the pole barn shops. ..

Hoot to Shoot day

Hello again @Ranchibi

Well I offered to move in on their farm, then his wife handed me a list of chores that would have to be completed every day before any shooting  . Then it donned on me that I really needed to be over on my place

ThomasT
That's...HILARIOUS Thomas.....😂👍

Anyone using the air guns more lately?

I know multiple people died from Covid, I know many had very mild symptoms and no one still really knows why it kills some. Then again same with flu but covid is definitely nastier. Take reasonable precautions and kept healthy and you should most likely be fine.

But the thread sure got me dreaming of roll back the clock 2 years, I sure as hell shot a lot of lead and not to mention less grey hairs. LOL
