AR 15 GRIPS

Like most air guns with the AR15 grip as a "base" model grip...yes, they will...eventually...fit.
BUT...some may require a little "hand fitting", as they will be a little tight in one location of the block or another. Some require only some file or sanding. Some will require some Dremel hand grinder work.
Some grips are tight, not many, IF any, will fit loosely.
Some will actually be...a bolt on !
All that come with a fastener, will be an SAE (American / English) base fastener. Some of the Daystate fasteners, may be too short, some may be too long !
So read this as, you "may"...have to buy a correct length metric fastener.

Also, you don't "always" require the "Beavertail" on the grip, for a nice hand fit on the grip.

So...depending on your definition of will they..."fit". Yes, eventually they will.

Mike
Thank you once again Mike, for sharing your experiences.

FX  NRL22 with an air rifle

You have to talk the guy who organizes the NRL22 competition at your club; I will just shoot the stages for practice and fun, I am not interested to become a member of the NRL22. I am the only one shooting air rifles at my clubs and always have people congregating around me while shooting; i let them shoot my rifles and they like them but are surprised by the cost of the rifles. I hope by joining the group, i will bring more people into shooting air rifles and maybe have our own permanent air rifle range.
Yeah everyone after the match wants to shoot my gun and I let them tell my tank is out of air or I'm out of slugs-lol. People so freak out when you tell them what the gun costs. My Vulcan 3 is still cheaper than all the vudoos and rimx with chassis running around. Although I'm getting ready to get that talon tune chassis for my Vulcan 3 in 700mm to add some more weight and the arca rail attachment. Probably get some fat bastard weights. My buddy Derrick Wall just set his up and it's about 16lbs which is pretty good weight and it balances well

Reaming barrel on Umarex Gauntlet 2 .30 Cal

A little update, tried what i have at 52yards, NSA 54.5 nope, 65.5 nope, 43.8 nope, 49.5 is a winner with two groups of 3 shots , holes touching each other, thank God. Also barrel is very dirty after only 10 shots, so maybe hope once barrel gets broke in.
Good to read! If after a while it keeps getting fouled up bad, you can also polish the barrel. Not too much though a little goes a long.

FX Impact M3 Compact 0.30

Here’s what you do. When you get the gun, pull the barrel and rotate it to the slug port if it has two ports. Install the barrel. Single feed a pellet and pull the barrel again to make sure the probe seated it into the liner. If all those things check out, fire a couple shots to get things seated. Adjust your first reg to 175-180b and never think about that reg again. Set your second reg at 140b and work your micro up to find your max velocity while your wheel is on 16. Do all of this with your valve knob backed out past the last line. Whatever speed it shoots when you find the max speed with the micro, subtract 4% from that number. If that number is fast enough for you, now it’s time to start tuning. If it’s not fast enough, turn your second reg up to 145b and click the micro up until you hit your new max speed. Do some math again. When you finally get a math number that’s good enough for you, click the hammer wheel down to 13. You will see a lower velocity and notice the gun sounding a little better. Then use the valve knob to knock another 10fps off that speed. Now you’re probably at -3% of your max velocity and it’s time to start shooting groups. You can use the valve knob to further reduce the velocity another 10fps while shooting groups or you can even try going to 12 on the wheel. Don’t waste your money on bolt on crap like pin probes and limp springs. If you want a solid gun, use what came with it. If it won’t give you what you think you need, then what you think you need is wrong.
Vetmx, thx mate. You said a lot of things thats on my mind. I intend to set the gun as you mentioned & not have the 2nd reg more than 150 bar & shot the gun as is first. Lets see where it will take me from there.

Huben  GK1 anticipation!

While some may not think it matters, my personal opinion is that it is best to always clean then lube your pellets. I wash all of my ammo then lube them, that keeps the barrel clean and I think it improves accuracy.... Also at least dry fire the pistol every month as it is not good to leave it unfired as the seals will get hard and eventually leak...

Taipan  OG Veteran Tactical Stock

The Royal Arms grip was a failure. The hole is simply not in the right place.

Ended up using a gift certificate i had for an ERGO 0 degree grip. AND decided to swap the stock onto my .20 Vet Short.

The difference between a Standard and Short Vet are of course the length of the air tube and barrel, but also the LOP is shorter on a Short, by about 1 inch. So that makes stock swaps not doable. And the trigger rod is the only thing that makes the LOP shorter. Ie trigger rod determines where the scope towers/air tube/barrel clamps are located, which determines which stock inletting fits. BUT I have a unique situation of needing a shorter LOP on the .177 Standard because it is the gun shot by my younger (smaller) son. The Shorty stock also weighs much less than the chassis stock.

Soooooo, I swapped air tube/barrel clamps from the .177 Standard to the .20 Short, and vice versa. This made the chassis stock fit the Vet Short. And while I call it the .20 Vet Short, it actually has a bit longer barrel than OEM, and also has one plenum extension. All of that together = this...
PXL_20231201_220234362.jpg

And the best part is that it keeps it 26.5" long, which allows it to fit in the little briefcase type rifle case this gun has lived in since 2018.
PXL_20231201_220939708.jpg

And the mirror of that is the .177 Standard, with the Shorty stock....

And next to each other, the perspective makes the difference in length seem more than it really is.

N/A  Diving into PCP...here's my plan...thoughts?

Sounds like the farm is going to be even more fun to go visit now!
Great information and suggestions from the folks who responded too.
The only thing I would add is that the crosshairs on a second focal plane scope remain the same at any power, while the crosshairs on a first focal plane scope will look thicker as you focus on closer stuff.
I’m a dummy and can’t really explain it clearly but I prefer the second focal plane scopes because I like the crosshairs to be as thin as possible.
And as far as caliber goes I would choose .177 because you will get twice as many shots for the same cost.
I wish I could have been a kid coming to visit your farm!! Have fun and please post pictures.
