Just ran it. No noticeable change in sound or vibration so I assume it's running smoothly but, NO JOY! Still only builds 100psi. Guess I'm lucky in that this hunting season (ground squirrels) is nearly over & I'm getting my 60 & 45 minute tanks topped off Sunday at the dive shop. My 15 & 30 minute tanks are full. Between my 4 tanks it SHOULD hold me until: A) I get the compressor promised to me. B) I get a new YH, or C) Winter arrives before I run out of airWhen I received my new piston/rod assembly, I also noticed that the plastic spacers were not installed on the wrist pin. I assumed that the manufacturer didn't put them on there for a reason, so I installed the assembly into the compressor without the spacers. So far, it's been running like a top; better than before. I have about 3 hours running time on it.
Thanks, I will get in touch with him.Just new to the forum, but just had my Crosman 600 (1958) rebuilt by Henry Ford in SC. He is a well know re-builder/repairer. Might want to contact him.

I hope so too, it seems to be a common theme here with the droop the rifles are shipped with. The lock up on the receiver side is pretty much set by the top of the fixed wedge. I'm wondering if someone at the factory is installing that wedge upside down?
A misplaced barrel pivot hole would also cause a shift in lock up position but I'm betting these are computer machined and less likely to be off.
I did get a new 50 sent to me recently and it had minimal droop that would likely go away as the breech seal flattens to size. There's hope they addressed the droop in the new models.

I never thought about the lock up side of it...I only have the one Weihrauch so nothing to compare mine with but those with multiple rifles could compare to see if that could be a factor. The lock up on the receiver side is pretty much set by the top of the fixed wedge.
