Silicon lube alternatives

Does that include as a pellet lube? I use it on the triggers, slides and in the magazines of my firearms but haven't thought about it in my PCPs.
I don’t think it would be a good pellet lube. Would probably dirty up the barrel very quickly. Just on use your moving mechanical parts.

New targets from the north

Cool fact about pigs is they’re all one species, or atleast all of them in the US are Sus Scrofa. I believe they all transform back into the Russian variety within a few generations and if you have alot of wild pigs that look like farm pigs they’re most likely being released which is very common in a lot of places.
I listened to a biologist from I believe it was Kentucky speak about the problem, they’re one of the states that banned pig hunting. They dug into the problem and found pigs were being spread by hunters turning them loose for hunting opportunities. It’s been a bit since I listened to that but they were one of a few states without a pig problem a couple years ago and I think they’re still holding strong.
Beware of the super pig!

Other  Gas/spring piston guns and slugs, long term?

NSA makes many types for the .177
I'm a big fan of their .177 15gr slugs, when used in pcp's. I've used Nielsen 12.5gr, 15gr and 20.5gr slugs, but honestly haven't purchased more since they relocated. I'll have to give the line up another look 👍

Anybody using a Nikon P1000 to video long distance shots?

My hobby was photography for over four decades so I know a little bit about glass clarity and quality. I had both Nikons and Canons SLR and DSLR's in the past and somehow just stick with the Canon's
You want to connect the Nikkon to your scope, not sure what external mount can handle that weight of the Nikon 1000. Can work well but don't use digital zoom because the software will want to manage the pixels.
A good alternative would be a Sony DCS-RX model range point-and-shot, you can pickup some earlier MK4 or 5 models for relatively inexpensive, much less weight, and I think I saw some mount in several occasions I visited eaglevisioncam
I have some leftover cameras in my drawers inherited from my two sons, probably the batteries dried out just sittin in the locker. I was tinkering in the past to get some scope mounts but ... kind a lazy to play.

Where to buy 50 cal Alloy slugs

Californias lead free regs along with other states. As it stands right now, big bore hunting in California is risky. Get caught hunting with lead is not an option. Which also restricts the sport of airgun hunting and its growth. There are also other states that have lead free regulation. Granted these regulations are based on firearms, how ever a warden is likely to care about anything other than hunting with lead. Being a airgun it’s likely not going to help.

I think you're mistaken as I was recently.
