Ive got a china cloned atlas bipod and it looks just like the atlas even says atlas on it.
You can feel it's made cheaper when there side by side the real atlas is a lot nicer if you get my drift

In my personal opinion... 100% better.. only thing that sucks is the 8rd mag but there are people making aftermarket ones now.. the ghost is more solid and just shoots right out of the box... My maverick took some tuning to get it to shoot right and if u wanted 100fpe out of the maverick u needed a 700mm barrel and heavy hammer.. the ghost is just ready to go

Having finally gotten home from the shoot ill chime in on the weather. IT SUCKED lol. Friday was fine and nice all day. Saturday was windy and wet all day and night. Sunday was more wind and heavier rains but luckily those came after we were done shooting. Luckily in the field course they had most lanes covered with a 10ft tent which was an unexpected and welcomed sight. Non the less we all prepared for shooting in the rain and being soaked all day. Luckily the rain didn't hurt my gun. Ryan and I were able to pretreat and post treat equipment.

Was tough but a great experience. Very cool for my first nationals shoot. Love the people and loving this sport.
I didnt get any pictures. Wish i would have. Only recorded the Tyler Patner and Lauren Parsons shoot off.

And yes, Ohio shooters represented!!!

Lots of good opinions, and I'll just add one more. I have found that 25 yards is a good distance for testing. It's short enough that even an average shooter should be able to contain errors to a minimum. And it's far enough that the variable (pellets in this case) will begin to show its result. Absent significant wind, I have found this very reliable. There is also a relevant position that testing should be done at the maximum routine distance. Since you're going to end up there anyway, why not just start there? I always used that approach when working up BR loads in CF cartridges. Frankly, an experienced shooter under good conditions might find this preferable. Granted, even a light wind will affect a pellet, but if the testing is consistent, the end result might be more productive than the short-range approach.

Bought the 362 for my son and I love it. Very solid feeling gun , especially for the economical price. Accurate. Powerful. Most importantly made in the USA.
I believe low entry price is due to crosman company being able to do this, but additionally it's because the sights are absolutely budget cheap.
We installed steel breech, Williams notched, and have been going back and forth between a crosman custom shop " my muzzle brake" front sight and a cool yet budget fiberoptic slide on off Amazon by Missouri J or something like that.
Now it's a sharp shooter.
But considering the upgrades ($100 ish), it comes out to more like $215 dollar gun. Still a very reasonable price point made in the USA.

Can't wait to get the new PCP 3622 version, its only $35 more which is incredible to me, its the exact same gun but PCP and a shroud over front sight.
I like the fit and finish for the price. It's just a great utility rifle.

YES on that Williams Notch sight! I had to get one for mine (chose it for my Crosman custom shop 1300KT-based carbine, too), and I get awesome accuracy with it on both rifles! It's fairly pricey (more expensive than the peeper), but well worth it to me. Great choice to make an excellent, very affordable and extremely utilitarian little .22 carbine even better. When I got the C2023 (the anniversary upgraded 362), the Williams peeper was very nice, but I prefer notch and blade open sights. The C2023 also sold me on the steel breech instead of the stock plastic product on all the other air rifles and such from Crosman. I was really surprised to see a new Winchester 1977XS (I bought one after trying out the Daisy 880 back in 20 or so when I got into the hobby) selling now for just about what a 362 and new sight (or steel breech) would cost, and to me, even though I quite like my accurate 77XS, there's really no comparing the two, in my book. As for the new 3622, age is starting to catch up enough that I'm a bit gimped up, so I'm leery of pulling the trigger on a 3622 PCP and hand pump. Besides, I'm afraid I might love it enough that I start thinkin' more seriously about other PCP airguns and all the additional equipment making that part of the hobby even better (and more expensive). Unfortunately, I don't think our retirement budget would survive it, so maybe not. ;-) Enjoy that 362 with the sweet upgrades; fine little air rifle! Making it was the best move Crosman's made to promote pumpers since about forever, in my book. I hope the planned new Gamo pumper turns out to be at least similar in quality and usefulness.

Hey Bob thanks, I thought so, apologies for what may have seemed like a silly question, its the first time I have seen the seal from a Air Rifle lol, im really stumped as to how this happened I am almost convinced it was damaged when it was inserted already, but alas now that i have opened her up my warranty will be void. Finding spares also seems to be a challenge here in South Africa, not many retailers keep parts. I have opted for a new Rifle (A Kuzey TX-2) that is on its way, that will at least give me something to have fun with while i try to source parts for the Umarex

I don’t know the answer to that, we don’t have many iguanas in my area. We still get cool enough in the winter that we don’t have a large population. Our invasive is the agama. Iguanas are herbivorous, so I don’t suppose they cause them any issues.
I have first hand saw what domestic cats do pose an issue, they are the problem for these little raptors.

My .22 Bantam HiLite is fantastic, as it and .177 are much better in the HiLite platform. Top rifle is my .22; bottom is a .177 I converted to pistol.

The smallest group measured .55”; 2nd best 100 yard airgun group I’ve ever gotten.

7/2/2020- Eight consecutive 5 shot groups at 50 yards with 18.1 JSBs averaged .49”.

my XR is awsome in 22. the 25 cal non regulated is a differnt gun , the 177 and 22 regulated or not were different guns , the 25 not so good , i have them both . the 25 cal . is still ok for friends

I bought this one from Walmart. I've used it over 50 times. I get very little water out of it when I purge the tank and the filter is always dry. I put a few drops of oil in it every 10 fills or so.

In my opinion 100 yards is way too far for big game with air rifles.
There’s probably exceptions, but overall a slug hitting a deer in the lungs at 100 yards is most likely just going to poke a hole through the lungs.
No doubt it’ll kill the animal, but it would likely run a long way without leaving much of a blood trail.
A slug at that range wouldn’t have enough energy to mushroom for maximum tissue damage.

Sometimes its better to just keep your mouth shut. That applies everyone including myself. We all make mistakes. Biggest thing is whether we respond with humility or hostility. Live and learn.
